Such a beautiful, clean, cozy place! I felt right at home! I love that there was a view of the lake! Colette was so sweet, I enjoyed meeting her! I would definitely stay here again

This place is just north of Grand Marais and offers a beautiful view of Lake Superior from the deck. It is quiet and private, and there is a great night sky view of the stars.

Robert was a fantastic host. The place was very cozy and peaceful and was everything needed for a wonderful getaway from the rustle and bustle of everyday life. To top it off, my girlfriend and I got ourselves stuck and he helped dig and push our car put and was even willing to help tow us out if it came to that. He went above and beyond anything I’d expect from a host. And I highly recommend staying at one of his locations if you want a great place to stay and a host who has your back. We’ll definitely be back!

Erik was very easy to work with, answered all questions in a prompt manner. House was very clean, and exactly what was described. Sauna was amazing. Highly, highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the Grand Marais area.

A Perfect Valentine’s Getaway on Lake Superior I can’t say enough about this incredible cabin on Lake Superior—it was everything I hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully designed to create the perfect escape. The cabin itself was stunning, with warm, inviting decor and high-end finishing touches that made it feel both luxurious and cozy. The fireplace, soft lighting, and plush furnishings set the perfect mood for a romantic getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare a special meal without missing a thing. The highlight, of course, was the hot tub overlooking the lake. Listening to the icy waves crash while soaking in the warmth was absolutely magical, especially under the stars. It was the perfect place to unwind. Beyond the incredible amenities, the location was unbeatable—private, peaceful, and with breathtaking views of Lake Superior.

We enjoyed our stay and probably will return. The views inside and outside were great! I even found a little rock cleft on the beach to sit in. Morning prayer was lovely from the glider rocker in the kitchen looking out on the lake. The decor was cozy quaint with some nice art mixed in. For the 2 of us it was a spacious cottage. As mentioned before, the shower was small. The beds were comfortable but seemed smaller than the double bed we have in our guest room, but that could be perception because the room was also small. But who needs a large bedroom when the other rooms are big and you have all outdoors!

This was my first time using Airbnb and everything was perfect. The Lighthouse is exactly as described. I appreciate that there is off street parking. Todd communicated procedures clearly as well as useful local information. The location of the Lighthouse is perfect if you're going to be spending time downtown, such as taking a class at North House Folk School. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I stayed here March 2025 hoping to see the Northern Lights since this year will be a very good year to see them. Unfortunately, the forecast changed but we are gonna definitely try here again next time at Andrews Airbnb! it was so lovely and they were so helpful and responsive. Like another review, one of our friends who was staying with us also said there was dog hair/some animal on the bedsheets, but we only stayed one night so it wasn't a problem for us. And Andrew and Summer would have fixed it for us if we insisted!! See you next time!
