Absolutely loved our stay here, the cottage its self was gorgeous and the space inside was a really great lay out and very spacious! The cottage had everything we needed as-well as the little extras that were complimentary, and overall Sheila has been a great host and I would recommend this place, we had an amazing stay here! Beautiful place so relaxing just what we needed as a family to regroup and recharge our batteries. Very well equipped with all the essentials made use of the washing machine and airer and ironing board and iron. Great wfi. Hot tub was lovely and the veiws from it.

Lovely cosy cabin in idyllic location, perfect for a weekend get away. Cabin was very clean and equipped with everything you need. Hot tub was such a nice addition and perfect to watch the sunset. Would definitely recommend and would return 😊

We loved our stay in Rambling Rose Cottage! Stayed a couple of nights and having walked miles along the coast from the house, it was a real treat to come back to relax in the hot tub in the sunshine. Lovely cottage, fab location and Dawn is a great host - would highly recommend booking!

Very comfortable w/e in an immaculate and well appointed property. So close to Staithes yet out of the hustle and bustle with views across open countryside. Would definitely rebook.

A great find and imo £309 cheaper than similar properties I was looking at in the area Great communication, easy to find, parking was stress free (I’ve experienced the Whitby area that’s stressful) hot tub was fab and a very comfy night sleep Perfect location to explore the local area of Scarborough and Whitby

I ended up doing a solo trip with the dogs and I felt very safe and comfortable on my own. The cottage was clean and cosy. The large Porch is a great design to have an area for drying off coats / boots and with the hot tub. Love the field walks, it’s so nice to be able to have somewhere just a short walk from the accommodations where dogs can be let off lead. Very satisfied with this stay, would recommend to friends and family and I would definitely like to visit again one day. Thank you for a pleasant stay x

We had an incredible few days, the place was amazing. A really cosy cottage and my boys loved the sea life theme; especially the the shark in the shower 😆 Ashley gave us a really great information package and was very helpful when I asked about taxis/buses. He also sent us some maps of where the bus stops were in relation to where we were planning to walk. We will definitely be back again!

This was our second time staying at Greylands and again had a wonderful stay. Carol and all her family are lovely and welcoming and made our visit absolutely delightful. The cottage works perfectly and the farm is great to be on. Our whole family would fully recommend.

The accommodation was spacious, clean, well appointed and easily coped with our family and the variety of ages. The outdoor area was well kept and had a large table and chairs suitable for outdoor eating and had the added attraction as a lovely suntrap. Having bathrooms on every floor was very convenient. A lovely house to use as a base when exploring the neighbouring seaside resorts and countryside.

This idillic cottage is in the perfect location for the Yorkshire Gliding Club (where we were flying from for the week) and exploring the National Park. Easy access, very quiet, fantastic views and great surroundings made for a very enjoyable week.

I've lost count of how many times we've stayed in this house Perfect home to stay in. Great location for getting around Whitby and close to a car park. Kitchen well equipped. No issues cooking a full Sunday roast for 6 people!

This is a real gem of a place situated in the most beautiful surroundings . Fantastic walking straight from your door, bird song galore and so much more . Trish is a wonderful host , very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble . We were greeted with delicious homemade cake , fresh flowers and a basket of treats . I would highly recommend Trish's beautiful home and really hope to be back again one day so much more to explore . Thank you Trish for a wonderful time . Emma

Thanks to Sarah for letting us stay. The place is so convenient for the beach and it was such a treat to have a house to retreat back to. Great communication from the host (we needed assistance working the heating). We hope to come back again!

had a great 3 nights at Bridget's, it's ideally situated half way up the hill so convenient for going up or down into village, the cottage itself was v comfortable for the 5 of us and a dog, had all amenities and stuff you need for a holiday stay, thank you Bridget

We had a lovely stay here and would absolutely return and recommend. The photos don't do it justice in my opinion. It's so much better. It's Modern. Clean. High end / quality fixtures and fittings. Full proper kitchen and all the essential items. Literally a home from home. It feels homely and welcoming. Parking outside the door or just at the end of the drive. Tricky if you have a huge car but you'll get parked no bother. The added extras are amazing and the welcome items were next level than we've had anywhere else. Rebecca is responsive. Very accommodating and so lovely to deal with. Amazing host. The Bay is 5 minutes away from Filey in the car and a nice place to stay. It feels like a new build housing estate but lovely nonetheless. Tip - if you normally sleep with blackouts (we do) take an eye mask. There is a gorgeous high circular window but with no covering, you do wake early with the light coming in. Honestly stop looking for somewhere "better". You've found it.

Thanks so much - my parents really enjoyed the cottage - we were staying on a different cottage on The Bay and booked them this one. They said it was their favourite one so far (I think their 3rd visit to The Bay now). Loved the beach walks and a joy to be in Filey again.

This was our first experience with an air b&b and we were a little unsure as to what to expect. In a nutshell, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The cottage is utterly beautiful both inside and out, it couldn’t have been any cleaner and every time we realised we needed something, there it was - they’ve genuinely thought of everything! It’s so well equipped, from cutlery, to dvds, to toys… even down to little things like plasters! It’s honestly a home from home and the only negative we have is that we had to leave! The onsite pub is nice and where several have thought it expensive, we actually thought it was reasonably priced - especially when children eat for £1 with a paying adult main! Absolutely beautiful place and we will be recommending it to anyone who will listen! Thanks so much for the wonderful memories!

A Lovely Stay at Collie Cottage, Filey We had a wonderful couple of nights at Collie Cottage with our 18-month-old and couldn’t have asked for a better base for exploring Filey. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home from home. The location is great—peaceful yet just a short walk to the beach. Our toddler loved having space to toddle about safely, and the cottage had everything we needed, including a travel cot and high chair which made things so much easier. We particularly appreciated the welcome pack and the clear, helpful communication from the hosts. It’s obvious a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. We’d happily return and would definitely recommend Collie Cottage to anyone visiting Filey, especially young families.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

We had a very enjoyable short (post New Year) 3 night stay. The only problem being an issue with bedroom tv system. Amy tried to get this resolved promptly and it wasn't a real priority for us. Other than that, everything was fine. She always responded promptly to any queries and was able to allow some flexibility regarding check-in/departure times, which was appreciated.
