Single room available to rent in a cosy, friendly and clean house in Leyton, East London. Location The house is in a quiet, residential area ideally located for visiting all parts of London and beyond. It is 5 minutes walk to Leyton tube station which is on the Central line with easy, direct access to Central London. 2 minutes to Stratford, the Olympic Park & Westfield shopping Centre, 10 minutes to the City and 20 minutes to the West End. 2 minutes walk to local bus services including night buses on Leyton High Road. Good links to all London airports including Stansted, London City, Heathrow & Gatwick and all major London Train stations are easily accessible by tube. Also excellent road links serving all parts of the UK. Local Amenities The local area has a variety of good restaurants, friendly pubs, supermarkets and shopping facilities. There are good local sports facilities in the area, these include a swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, golf range, ice skating and horse riding centre. There is a local park 2 minutes walk away and Epping Forest is close by. Accommodation The private room which is situated upstairs at the back of the house is light, airy and nicely decorated. It is fully carpeted, the furniture is in good condition and consists of a single bed, wardrobe, drawers and dressing table. Fresh towels and Bed linen are provided and changed on a weekly basis or when required. All other facilities are communal and available for guests to use. (The maximum number of people staying in the house at any one time is four including myself.) These include: Bathroom - on the same floor as the private room; it is fully tiled, with hand basin, toilet, bath and shower. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor of the house. Kitchen – This is on the ground floor and has a hob, oven, grill, and microwave and there is a breakfast bar to sit at if required. There is a washer/dryer also available for use. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided for guests to use and there is ample cupboard and fridge space available. Living and Dining area – Also on the ground floor it is comfortably furnished with wooden flooring. There are 2 leather sofas, dining table and chairs, desk space, computer and wi fi access if you need it. There is a 46" HD TV, all Sky and cable channels available, TiVo box, DVD, blu-ray player and radio/CD player. There is also a small back garden and on-street parking is available on request. Other Info English breakfast, packed lunches and supper can be provided at a small extra charge. Continental Breakfast, tea, coffee and soft drinks are included in the price. There is also a twin bedded room available for rent in the same house so ideal for a family of 3 or 3 friends sharing who want to spend time in London in good quality accommodation at a reasonable rate. Fabulous room for friendly people

I and my husband - only who live in flat. We do not have pets. Room is private ( small,but comfy), so you'll have a good rest. Flat positioned on high road,but your room is off the street,so it is quiet. Our neighbors is very polite and friendly. If you'll have any questions or need some advice- we are always happy to help. We do not have free parking around. If you are smokers- do not worry as we are smokers :) to. We do all for your feel homely and enjoyed London like we are. See your soon.

Single room in friendly family home

A small cosy single room available in our Edwardian period home in a quiet part of Southfields, South West London close to Wimbledon tennis club, a few minutes walk to bus or Southfields tube zone 3. Central London in 35 mins. Bus stop at the end of the road which is a 10 min ride to Clapham Junction, from Clapham Junction it’s 10mins by train into Waterloo or Victoria. Room only suitable for people who are out during the day. One suitcase. No working from our home. No eating in the room.

Light room on Portobello Road, Notting Hill

Enjoy a unique local experience at this centrally-located artists home. The room is at the top of our Portobello town house overlooking the vibrant Portobello Road itself, set over three floors. You will find restaurants, bars and coffee shops on the doorstep, alongside the incredible Portobello Market. On Fridays and Saturdays the market runs past our house. Wonderful for vintage shopping, and many desingners make their way here. Must point out that there are stairs to the room.

Lovely room in historic Walthamstow Village

I am offering a charming room on the ground floor of my home in the heart of the Walthamstow Village. There are two comfortable sofa beds, a small double (125 cm) and small single (82cm). There is a wet room with shower for your exclusive use. Four women share the house. We are all friendly, busy and generally quiet. We are very close to historic buildings, the local history museum, restaurants and pubs, and the trendy Wild Card Brewery offering live music.

3 min walk to tube/subway/restaurants.

A Victorian townhouse, across three floors; with two guest rooms on the first floor. The sitting room and bathroom on the first floor are for the sole use of our guests. The cosy room is furnished with a small double bed, wardrobe with drawers and a bedside table. The Northern line is a 3 minute walk away, and a 25 minute tube journey gets you to Victoria. The area is vibrant and active, but the flat is serene and quiet. The flat also has a garden with a gas bbq.

This Apartment is located all within walking distance of Regents Park, Paddington, the beautiful Little Venice, Notting Hill and Portobello Road. Large comfortable bright room near Portobello Road

Please consume only vegetarian or vegan food in the flat. There are lots of places nearby that serve meat dishes, so I hope this isn't an issue. My flat is nice and bright. The room is large (5 m x 2.6 m). The bathroom and kitchen are shared. I’m 5 minutes from Portobello Road and all it’s shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Im also 5 minutes walk from Ladbroke Grove underground station, as well as lots of buses. Super easy to get into central London.

You’ll love my place where three bedrooms waiting for visitors. It is homely and comfortable . My place is good for singles and couples, business travellers, and families. It is one minute from Beautiful Gladstone Park with Playground, tennis courts, and sport equipment's. My place is close to Willesden Green Underground Station on the Jubilee Line, Zone2. In half of an hour one can be in the heart of London, Oxford Street, Bond Street, Trafalgar Square.
