Lovely spot by the river for a quiet weekend out of the city. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard, we loved watching the river roll by for a couple of days. The house had everything you could want for a great stay, from lawn chairs and decent internet to cooking basics and even kits for smores. We would definitely love to come back later in the summer when the river's a bit warmer!

I was staying for a few weeks as I looked for a place to reside permanently. Sher was super friendly and accomodating. The place was cleaned up well prior to me arriving and was very quiet and peaceful (as advertised) the whole time I was there. The location, Brambleton, is pretty family oriented and is super quiet and safe feeling. Two thumbs up, would stay again👍👍

Nar’s one of those people you meet and instantly can see his kindness and willingness to help others. He’s a fantastic host and recommend quite a few places for me to go and see, if I ever had a problem he was quick to respond and deliver it. The airbnb place is beautiful, peaceful roommates, and just a great place to stay. The neighborhood is massive and I enjoyed to explore it as much as I could, there is a beautiful hidden lake in the neighborhood which I suggest if you stay here you must see if your into outdoorsy stuff. The amenities nar provides are great and very accommodating of him. I can honestly say If I’m ever in the area this will be another place I will stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this Harper’s Ferry home. Of all the places we have stayed, we appreciated not needing to pack the basics! Everything was provided and the hosts were very communicative and helpful. The home heated/cooled well, the space was clean and well kept. We hoped for a slightly more private location, but saw numerous deer at all times of day and it was a quiet neighborhood. The bunkbeds are in the basement, down the spiral staircase, with a door to the outside. It was a great space for our slightly older kids. We spent quite a bit of time hanging around the foosball table or reading in the little nook! Thank you for the relaxing stay.

My husband and I were looking for a peaceful place for Thanksgiving, away from the noise of the city and specifically for a house with a piano, since he likes to play classical music. This place had everything and a lot more. The pictures are accurate. We had fun playing ping pong. The kitchen was fully equipped. We loved the vintage décor particularly of the elephant-themed room with wicker furniture where we had coffee and hot chocolate. While my husband played the piano, I would be in the TV room watching Netflix movies, reading or just doing nothing. I went out to the deck to take a video of the flock of birds flying over the river (so beautiful!) Glancing into the calming river through the windows was so relaxing! It was cold outside, so we mostly stayed in, but drove by Harper’s Ferry and stopped by in Sheperdstown to have brunch. All in all, the perfect vacation! 100% recommended! The communication with Liz was smooth and she provided all the information that we needed.

My family gets together once a year to celebrate all the holidays. This property had everything that I wanted---large dining room table/ easy access kitchen/roomy screened in porch/fishing dock. Although I rented it hoping all 12 of my family would be there --- only 10 could make it. For 10 it was quite comfortable -- although there were sleeping for 12, it was more comfortable with only 10. Since this was Easter, I requested to be allowed to leave at 1:00 rather than the standard 11:00. My request was quickly answered and we all attended mass at St. Peter's Church in Harpers Ferry where my son was married 15 years ago. Personally, I had a great time.

Suzan was fabulous and so was her house. We would definitely stay when we are back in the area! Highly recommend.

Our family enjoyed our stay the Mountain Mama property. Communication was great from booking through checkout. The house was big enough for our family of 7 to spread out nicely. There were plenty of books and games to entertain our kiddos. Enjoying the fireplace while watching a family movie was perfect for a cold weekend.

Good quiet place to stay near Harper’s Ferry. Place was clean, hot tub was nice we were able to watch deer next door and across the street hang out and graze. Everything was in place and clean. Beds were soft and comfortable. The only issue that I have is the rocks that line the driveway especially when turning out of the driveway will catch lower vehicles and cars it caused a little damage to my wife’s car and be careful where you park there is an oak tree with dead and rotting limbs that need to be trimmed that are right above the area where cars would park if you have more than one car. If I were to ever come back to Harper’s Ferry I would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was PERFECT! Eric and Jennifer’s place is a great find with beautiful land and views. It was a perfect location for a wedding we had in Bluemont. Super easy drive to Leesburg, too. We all agreed we’ve never had more comfortable beds. You’ll definitely feel right at home. Would love to stay here again on our next trip!

We loved staying at the lakefront property. The weather didn't allow us to spend much time in the amazing outdoor spaces at the home, so we will be back in warmee weather. The house was so comfortable and the view was amazing. We had everything we needed for a cozy mountain weekend away. We will definitely be back!

This house was perfect for a girls weekend! I really appreciated the quality finishes. We had everything we needed in the house. Mountain Mama was a wonderful host. I will definitely book with them again!
