Had a great stay here. Played some pool and relaxed after a long day of snowmobiling. The house was really comfortable and clean.

Very nice setting. Home was well equipped. Larger than it seemed in pictures, kitchen and living room are open spaces. Nice screen porch sitting area over looking the water. Only about 15 min to mackinaw city

Great home in a beautiful private location right on the water. Great amenities, inside and outside of the home. Tons of space for large families and very cozy. Sweet and thoughtful touches all around the home. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor of the home. Master suite has beautiful lake views to wake up to in the morning. The hosts were prompt as far as questions and concerns went.

Kristina is an absolutely fantastic host- 5 stars! Extremely responsive and awesome!! The a-frame is awesome and the site is beautiful, everything from the outdoor cooking area to the Kayaks and everything in between. My family had an amazing time stargazing from the deck and watching all of the wildlife during the day- the lake is so peaceful and serene. Everything you need (and more) is here, the beds were also amazingly comfortable- We recommend 200% Thanks for sharing this slice of perfection! We had a lovely 4 day weekend that included a 166 mile bike race on Saturday morning (Moran) and a ton of relaxation and awesome food/family time/ etc- A++ awesomeness, THANK YOU!!

This place for me was exactly what I needed to get away from every day life. It’s a nice little cabin. It looked like it got some newer updates to the inside. But remember it’s a cabin not a luxurious house like some people prefer. The View from the back deck overlooking the shallow bay waves and Garden Island had wildlife to watch and to listen to. We rented a car from Duffys checked out the lighthouse,points of interest and hit a few beaches for sunsets. Peaceful and relaxing. Kayaking and taking a cold swim in the clear water will be rememberable. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking meals and desserts. I’m going to try and get back to Beaver Island every year. Thank you John and the friendly people on the Island.

the place was absolutely beautiful and so was the view. we caught some fish and relaxed. the kids are already talking about going there this coming summer.

The place was incredibly cozy and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. I also appreciated the convenience of having gas stations, stores, and restaurants all nearby. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great stay.

Great place for our family get together. Lots of open space, had everything we needed for our group of 7. Made breakfast, lunch and everyone a nice dinner. Plenty of supplies. The AGA stove is pretty unique and fun to learn about. View is amazing and beach is great to explore. Literally no reason to leave once you are there! Nikki was amazing and helpful with suggestions and explanations. One of my group already wants to come back. Thank you!

Tom and Kitty were excellent! The island is gorgeous and the beach area is perfect. The water does not get too deep which was wonderful for the kids and my sanity. Perfect spot for a family getaway! They allowed us to use their kayaks, canoe and swimming platform. Tom also put out children at play signs which was such a thoughtful touch. All together an unforgettable family experience. Just lovely!

We liked it so imuch I am bringing whole family back and we are planning on renting 4 or 5 cabins with all our kids.

Perfect location, great having coffee on the deck during sunrise right on the beach. Our kids enjoyed skipping rocks and playing the board games, great trip to unplug from devices!

The cabin was clean and it looked the same as the pictures. Very convenient for Mackinaw and the surrounding areas. We loved being able to kayak and use the row boat for fishing. My boys caught a crappie, perch, and a blue gill. We saw a Bald eagle, a pair of Loons and other wild life in the lake. The was shed was stocked with water toys, fishing pole, stores sticks and so much more. I thought this yard was one of the best I saw while kayaking. The cottage had limited Tupperware and measuring utensils but we made due. The space was tight but I already read in the description and expected it. Nothing we couldn't manage for a few days!

This beautiful cabin was the perfect setting for our retreat. The home is situated right on Paradise Lake with easy access to the water. The location is also incredibly close to the upper peninsula and made day trips to local landmarks easy. The rooms were clean, cozy, and spacious enough for a four person group and dog. We would absolutely book this cabin again.

This was a wonderful place overall! The plentiful firewood and kindling was a major plus. The whole unit was very clean and well stocked with cleaning supplies, coffee, and basic cooking items (oils, salt, pepper). There was plenty of eatingware, cookingware, and towels. The only issue we had was non-functioning wifi and fridge, but this was resolved after several hours, and the host kindly compensated for the items that spoiled. The host was very professional and responsive, so we would love to stay at one of their properties again! Although on the pricey side, the privacy was well worth it. Ferry ports to Mackinac island are also just ~17 minutes away, so the location was excellent for what we needed.

Our stay was perfect! Michelle was very responsive to any questions and the house was comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay on the lake. Had a bonfire and saw the northern lights from the backyard.! Ran in to an issue but the answering service and host were very friendly and responsive, got it solved quickly. Would recommend

I would highly recommend Trails End to anyone. The cabin was clean and welcoming. The location is right on the lake and each cabin has its own deck with a picnic table and charcoal grill. There were lots of extra linens and blankets for when it got cold at night. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and coffee. Zach responded immediately when I texted him and the cabin was full of recommend local activities. We had a wonderful stay and will probably be back next year.

Overall we had a fabulous family trip to the Cabin at Gould City. Very nice cabin. with a private beach, kayaks, paddleboat and rowboat. Lake was nice and warm which made for many hours in the water. Located within an hour of many of the major attractions in the UP. (Tahquamenon Falls, Kitch-iti-kipi, Garlyn Zoo, Mackinaw Bridge and many more. Lots of beds available in 3 seperate sleeping areas. the two upstairs bedrooms are connected, but it's not a problem if you're respectful of others.

We were here out of season, but the lake was so beautiful on these fall mornings. We had the place to ourselves most of the time. It was quiet, clean, and the perfect little get away.

Used the cabin for an ice fishing trip. It was perfect, clean, and warm. Next time im coming in the summer. Highly recommend
