The estate has little over half an acre that would be great for cook outs or family functions. The home has 7 bedrooms, 5 sofas and 3.5 bathrooms. It is also within walking distance of the Kellogg Conference Center that has a public restaurant and bar inside. 15 minutes driving distance to Auburn. 45 mins to Montgomery. 50 mins to Wetumpka. This historic property was built in 1925 by Tuskegee Institute using student labor bricks and materials made by Tuskegee Normal and Industrial College students for the Dean of Men at the time, Dr. AJ Neely the mentor of Ralph Ellison and Iceberg Slim. Neely is one of the few historic institutional figures honored with his burial at the Campus cemetery, where Booker T and Carver are also interned. The house has 2 grand porches that allow residents to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while being conveniently located in the in walking distance to the Tuskegee University campus and facilities, the national parks and athletic facilities on campus.
