The Brookside retreat is improved and expanded, a full two bedroom, two full bath carriage house completely dedicated to the rental. A very quiet and tranquil setting nestled on the edge of the east side of town in historic Jim Thorpe. You can bike or walk to restaurants, the Lehigh River, Lehigh Gorge State Park, and local attractions. The downtown area is 1 mile from the property, but please note it will be up hill to return! The heated garage has arcade games, a pool table, foosball and shuffleboard. The backyard has a deck, BBQ, fire pit and outdoor games. We are close to Blue Mountain, Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski resort.

This historic Victorian home was built in 1870 and offers early American charm and furnishings, has wide plank floors, modern kitchen and modern bathroom. This house is located on the main drag of Jim Thorpe and has parking for one car. The home has a king size bed in the master bedroom and a queen size bed in the second bedroom. There is cast iron gas wood stove, basic cable TV, WIFI, new kitchen, and bathroom. There is a shaded private courtyard, upper deck and a Mountainside Gazebo.
