We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! On the shores of Graham Lake where the majestic Union River flows into the lake lies The Blue Heron. This 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom home has all the amenities you could ask for including high speed internet, standby generator, washer/dryer, numerous outdoor activities. Relax on the front patio, or the screened in lakefront porch. Wander down to the large waters edge deck featuring a fireplace on the water with a dock into the lake for fishing, kayaking, swimming, etc. Relax, Recharge, Reconnect.

Moose Cabin Getaway Close to Acadia in Maine

“Moose” cabin is one of four beautifully decorated cabins at Dickens Farms in Eastbrook Maine. Our cabins are spaced for privacy and each has its own fire pit, bbq grill and picnic area. Enjoy water access to Abrams Pond for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Two kayaks per cabin are provided for your use. Sit in the screened porch and listen to nature. Acadia National Park is 45 minutes away. Shop, explore, relax and create memories with the whole family for a few nights in your private cabin.

It is furnished with the amenities listed as well as a dock, swimming float, fire pit with firewood, gas grill, and table and chairs. Enjoy the peacefulness from the screened in porch which overlooks the lake after a day of hiking in Acadia National Park. You will hear the call of the loons while relaxing.

If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, our house on Molasses Pond may be a good fit for you/your family. It is a hidden gem down a dirt road away from hustle and bustle. Peace and quiet is what you’ll find, along with a gorgeous view. It’s a great place for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, grilling, fishing, and laying on the hammock. We try to provide you with all the necessities you may need and are happy to answer any questions. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
