The town was renamed Gas City boasting to grow to a pop of 50 thous, but sadly the gas wells dried up. Visit the Gas City museum at 210 South A St opened 1-4 sat&sun, relax at Beaner Linn Park 701 S Broadway or visit one of our shops. Salamonie State Property surrounds the Carriage House on three sides which means, this is all public land for you to explore! The Carriage House shares five acres with our residence. The Carriage House has loads of rustic charm, however, the modern amenities will keep you comfortable! Whether you're horseback riding, fishing, boating, hiking, biking on the Wabash County Trail, seeing a show at the Honeywell Center or just simply...want to get away, the Carriage House is awaiting your arrival!

Pool House On The Lake

The Pool House on the lake has several great features and is more the just a lake house. The house sets on a 5 acres wooded lot with a private gated drive. The 1950s home has the original bathrooms and kitchen but has been updated with great wifi ( for work or school) and new HD TVs through out. The view to the lake is one of a kind with its own private sandy beach and fire pit. No matter what the weather is there's something to do because this house also has a heated indoor pool(all year long).

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Enjoy wildlife, kayaking, fishing, campfires, horses, hiking and games. We also have a sauna and a hot tub available on the premises There is Roku TV and WIFI in the cabin. You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the swing or rocking chairs and listen to the night sounds or chat with friends. You can also enjoy a campfire and cook over the open fire on our tripod grill. We have 2 other cabins and our cozy apartment listed.

Inside-Shoot some pool on the 1800's pool table, pull out a board game with the family, or just relax in the four-season sunroom while watching the sunset. Enjoy Lake Time!

Come stay at this fun retreat and enjoy shopping and restaurants in any direction you go. This home is located across from the Delaware County Fair grounds in a very quiet neighborhood centrally located in Muncie sitting very close to Ball State University and IU Hospital and if you like to bike ride, Cardinal Greenway bike trail is very close by. Enjoy the many games provided for all age groups along with some grilling out , corn hole games and enjoy some hot tub time under the stars.

You’ll think you are in the country when you arrive at our peaceful 10 acre property right in Muncie. Located near our historic home, built in 1848, you’ll find a carriage house with an upstairs apartment with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. This is a quaint, rustic cabin like space with private outdoor area. You are only five to 10 minutes from BSU and IU Ball Hospital, downtown, Elm Street Brewing, the Children’s Museum, walking trails and most restaurants.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Play in the creek bed with sand toys while listening to a variety of birds. Walk in the woods and connect with nature or enjoy sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee. This is a primitive cabin to relax and unwind. It’s a mix between a dry & wet cabin. A glampers dream! Historic neighborhood. One block to BSU Village and less than 1 mile to downtown; Ball Memorial Hospital just few blocks down the same street. Registered historic property; truly walking distance to BSU for those visitors who don’t want to drive. Off-street parking is in the back alley. We kindly ask guests to be considerate to neighbors. Keep in mind, this house is near a college campus, and during graduation and sports events students/neighbors may be celebrating outside.

With a one-car detached garage, a lovely open layout, and a fantastic front porch, you'll feel right at home here. There's space for up to five or six people spread across three bedrooms, plus the lightning-fast wifi makes it easy to get some work or schooling done.
