Beautiful cottage in a prime location, directly on the edge of Farmer Lake! The view of the sunrise each morning over the water was spectacular. Not only that, but the interior of the house was cozy and inviting, with far more amenities than your average cabin. Our hosts were quick and responsive to any questions we had, and they made the whole experience very enjoyable.

The location was excellent for our needs. It is near the Hwy so it’s easy to get to almost anything nearby. We had a small issue but Amy was helpful. The place was somewhat dated, which is what I expected. The number of beds and bathrooms made things very comfortable for a larger group. Loved the view from the sitting room in Unit2. Overall, solid place for larger groups.

Was just as we expected it to be. Easy to get in and was nice for a weekend away.

This place was perfect for hosting a family gathering. It was on Lake Superior with a beautiful beach! The fenced in yard was perfect for children or pets…and there was a great playhouse/slide/swing set. The house had two living areas with sectionals and big screen televisions (allowing sports watching in one room and a sing a long in the other). The kitchen was modern and well stocked and included an island with seating. The four bedrooms had comfortable beds. Although there were houses on either side, it felt private and secluded, down a driveway off the main neighborhood street. It was a short drive into town. We would love to return someday!

We had an incredible stay! It was the perfect spot to enjoy my winter birthday with my fiancé & close friends. The views were stunning, and we immediately felt at home after checking in. Erin was a wonderful host and extremely responsive with any questions that arose during our visit. I’m so glad we had the chance to enjoy this beautiful home and surrounding location. We had such a lovely stay that we even started brainstorming around having a similar dream vacation spot one day. We’ll definitely look forward to coming back in the future!!

The house is beautiful, very well equipped and clean. There is a ton of space for guests and full of amenities. The playroom and toys are great for young kids. The location is perfect for snowmobiling with trail access. Lynn is very accommodating and quick to respond.

We had a bachelorette/ bachelor party and it was perfect. Super clean very secluded and very relaxing. Very clear directions and he was very accommodating and answered all our questions. 100% recommend!!!

Heather was a good host. Super responsive and accommodating. Space was clean and nice. She is very personable. This was my first experience with a shared space and I quickly discovered this was not a good fit for me and ended up finding other accommodations. Also, there was a $30 additional guest fee per night so when my daughter decided to stay with me last minute it would have made this quite a pricy option to add her on.

The cottage was great. Just as decribed...better than the pictures. We really enjoyed the sun porch. Peaceful and quite, we went for a fall color trip the colors were beautiful. This was just what we were looking for. We would definitely book agaim.

This was the first vacation we've taken with our two little ones, and Jeff & Angie's place couldn't have been better. Angie communicated with us before the trip, gave us tons of info to help ease us getting there and checking in, and were there when we pulled in. The cabins were so family friendly that we never questioned if our kids were safe, and each night ended with all the familes around the fire pit together while all the kids played. They had tons of options to borrow to enjoy the lake right there, and the cabins were stocked so well that all we had to bring was food. The location is great too for exploring the U.P. We will be booking again next time we head up north.

Jeff & Angie were great hosts...both stopped by to talk with us & asked us about our family & gave great suggestions on places to visit. Angie sent detailed texts with all the info we needed before we arrived and before we departed. The place had everything we needed & much more: including kayaks/SUP boards, paddle boats, fishing dock, campfire wood, charcoal grill, & much more and was so peaceful! I even bought a cute shirt from their merch selection to advertise and tell my friends about it!!

Really enjoyed the place. And the care and concern of Angie and Jeff was heartening.

We really appreciate you letting us stay, we couldn't have enjoyed are trip anymore. It was amazing to be able to come to a place we're we could destress for a a while while went went out and were little explorers. The cottage was beautiful and we would love to stay here again. We loved it so much we thought about moving up there in the future.

The house is lovely and the location very peaceful! Description and pictures in the listing are accurate. Curtains have been added to the bedrooms and they provide privacy. It is a little odd that the primary bathroom does not have a door, but it’s doable. The kitchen is well equipped and helped make for a lovely family retreat. The TV is a little difficult to sort out, something more user friendly might be a good addition. Don’t pass up a stay! We hope to come back in the summer.

My best friend and I have stayed at many Airbnb’s in the area, and we both agreed this was our favorite. The view from the deck is so gorgeous, and a great way to start your morning. The place was clean and stocked with anything we could have needed. All communication was very clear, and we felt prepared for our arrival and departure. We will definitely be back, and recommend it to anyone who needs to disconnect with a gorgeous view. Thank you!!

Fantastic place! So comfortable and the layout of bedrooms in different parts of the cabin was perfect, as we shared the place with our two adult kids and spouses. Everything is as shown in the pictures, very clean, very well maintained and nicely stocked with everything you need. The Kayaks, Canoe and Paddle boat all were enjoyed as was a wonderful fire overlooking the beautiful lake. Angie was quick to respond with the few questions I had although everything is well listed with directions. We had a great time and will return in the future. Thank you Angie and Jeff for offering your beautiful cabin for families to enjoy. We had a great stay at the Cedar Cabin! Everything was just as shown in the photos, but somehow even cuter and more homey. They’ve done a wonderful job of curating the space and I’m excited to see what comes next for the property. We’ll definitely be back with our puppies next time!

Beautiful place. We made use of fire pit and enjoyed the house, didn't go out on the lake but that is an option. Very quiet with great indoors and outdoors. Rebecca was responsive and helpful with our questions. Everything worked well. Recommend fall when leaves are changing - so beautiful with the lake, northern lights, and colorful trees. We got lucky and had a few crazy nights of Northern lights. I think the place is as advertised - takes a while to get there but it's very nice and we would stay again.

This was beautiful, extremely clean and well worth the price. Beautiful sunrises. You can occasionally get lost on google maps. For some reason it took us on an atv trail back to the cottage was not fun. Centrally located in up to see the west or east side.

Awesome place for snowmobiling. Restaurant and grocery store up the road. Trail access up the road also. Gas close by in Gwinn. This place checks all the box’s. Perfect snowmobile week. Thank you. Chris

Had an absolutely wonderful time in the UP staying at Brian's place. This cabin is an absolute gem of an airbnb. Definately the best cabin I have ever rented for my needs. The lake is idealic and well suited for fishing. There is even has a table to clean your catch outside. I really appreciated how it felt like staying at any family or friends cabin. I forgot to pack my binoculars so I was super glad there were some here as well. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds upstairs were very comfotable. The location lets you hit up a few different state parks in the UP. I found myself spending far more time than I anticipated taking it easy in the cabin. Brian had great communication and ensured that I had a good stay.

Absolutely magical stay. The A-frame is spacious, spotless, and full of charm, perched right above a quiet lake. My partner and I stayed here for a writing retreat and couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful, grounding setting. Pam was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating. She added thoughtful touches like marinara sauce and delicious local chocolate that made it feel extra welcoming. This place is an absolute treasure. We will definitely be back.

Great location in the upper peninsula. the house is situated on a beautiful lake in the woods. It is equipped with all the comforts of home and well suited for large groups. Jessamine is extremely quick, friendly, and help when responding to messages. We loved our long weekend stay and would highly recommend this house to anyone.
