This was our first Airbnb experience and it has definitely set the bar high! The homeowner was very responsive to our messages and super helpful with any question or request we had. This was for a weekend stay for our daughter’s wedding and the lakefront view from almost every room in the home was peaceful and kicked off each day with beauty and ease. You can easily get to Scottsboro, Guntersville, and Huntsville with a short and easy drive. Definitely keeping this stop in our rotation for that home away from home experience.

We picked this place to relax and enjoy time together while exploring other things in the area with our kids, including a trip into Huntsville and Cathedral Caverns. We spent a lot of time on the back porch enjoying the view or by the fire pit for the pleasant Spring evenings. Debbie was very helpful when we had questions and made our stay enjoyable. We especially appreciated her assistance during the overnight tornado warning! Come chill at Debbie's place and don't miss the chance to see the Cathedral Caverns just down the road.

This is a beautiful property! The home is spacious and easily accommodated our family of 9. The back deck overlooking the lake was my favorite spot for a morning coffee, the family enjoyed the deck on the boat house admiring the picturesque lake, and the semi-private road lined with beautiful homes was perfect for our afternoon strolls. I would highly recommend this property.

The house was great! Beautiful views... right on the lake..hot tub. Patio was enormous! Nice being able to grill. Showers were perfect and plenty of bathrooms! I'm a homebody but was totally comfortable. Any questions, the host responded IMMEDIATELY! She's great! Looking forward to my next stay.

Heaven on Earth! My group of community college students had a magnificent time at Frog and Toad Manor. Almost all the rooms were way bigger in person than in the photos. There was plenty of space for all of us. We loved sipping coffee together on the huge porch in the mornings, listening to the birds. We had a nice BBQ and jumped in the lake. Even in April the water's pretty warm. I hope my group can rent this place again next year. We didn't get to paddleboard and look for gators yet :-) A word for future guests: if you stay here, please take note that this is not a hotel. This is someone's house and those folks live here part of the year. So you have to treat it as such. When you stay in a *home* it feels completely different than staying in a cheaply furnished property owned by foreign investors and managed by a third party. The furniture and decor is higher quality because the owners themselves live here. Be respectful of their stuff; you would want the same if it were your house.

We stayed with two other families for a few days and we loved it! From the kayaks and paddle board to the game room; the amenities were great. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook. We were able to enjoy the lake, nearby shopping, City Harbor and Guntersville State Park Zip lining.

We booked this for our anniversary getaway and it was the perfect place to stay. Super quiet and cozy. We love to fish and the water access was great. We launched our kayaks straight from the bank with no problems. Would absolutely come back.

The place is very comfortable and homey! The host is very attentive and friendly, I would definitely return again, I loved it!
