Welcome to Longforde, a very special, charming and beautifully furnished cottage attached to our main home but completely independent with your own access and landscaped to ensure your absolute privacy. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

We have two queen size rooms and one king single, all bedrooms have good size wardrobes. Our self-contained, double-glazed, fully insulated compact cabin is well appointed. It stands alone on our lifestyle property, private from our house with fabulous views to the Remutakas. There is an outdoor covered BBQ area. Relax in the ~bath~ under the stars. We have a small dog (Lucy), sweet barky Huntaway (Ruby), donkeys (Phoebe, Anna & Lily) & August (cat). All very friendly. One small fur baby allowed. Please advise when booking.

Taraview Cottage is set in beautiful rural surroundings but only 2kms from Greytown village. The half acre section is fully fenced so it is safe for children or your dog to run about on. The cottage is fully equipped and all the linen is supplied. Taraview is spacious and sleeps 4 people and kept warm with a woodburner with plenty of wood. Minimum of 2 night stay..
