With the Willunga Basin Trail at your doorstep and 8 wineries in walking distance, this property truly provides the perfect retreat.

Terra Firma - 1850s Fleurieu Cottage

Take a step back in time. Built in 1850, this cottage was once occupied by the very Caffreys after whom our street is named. The cottage is structurally identical to how those European settlers would have inhabited it. The thick walls are fantastic for keeping both the summer heat and winter cold out. Workers, holiday-makers, and day-trippers have come through this place, each having left their own little mark. And hopefully, the soul of this place will make a bit of an imprint on you too.

Each space (driver's cabin & three-five-four) offers well appointed kitchens, queen beds, spectacular views from your own deck or choose to stay cozy inside. Close to numerous cellar doors, breweries and restaurants. A stunning space to relax and enjoy the incredible view after a days winetasting or adventures on the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula.

The perfect place for a weekend escape or for travellers wanting to unwind and relax for a few days. McLaren Vale wine region is a short 7min drive away. Enjoy our beautiful southern sandy beaches with Port Noarlunga beach only a few min away. The picturesque town offers a range of boutique shops, choice cafes, ice creamery & restaurants. Being located right on the "Coast to Vines" rail trail and the Onkaparinga River Conservation Park makes it perfect for walking, riding & kayaking.

Space & peace to self isolate in beautiful surroundings with lots of trees & fabulous views. Sit by the wood combustion fire & warm your soul or lie in until lunchtime in soft linen sheets, listening to birdsong. Lost in the Vines is a very private space in the McLaren Vale wine district, surrounded by vines & views, with lots of great walks, wineries & restaurants nearby. The house is all yours but I am generally around if you have any queries. Walk, ride, read or just kick back.

The Secret Garden Cottage is an amazing 1880s cottage set amongst a magical garden. With two bedrooms, dining room, and huge lounge room with 85inch TV this is the perfect place to relax and unwind. It's a short walk to the main road, many popular cafes and Serafinos making it the perfect location to base yourselves as you explore the region. Also available to book on the property is the Secret Garden Studio. You may see other guests from time to time but each have separate areas.

Strout Farm Cottage Est. 1842.

Strout Farm Cottage still belongs to the Strouts who have lived here for more than 180yrs. Starting with Richard Strout, there have been 7 generations of Strouts live in this cottage. Most of the furniture, photos and ornaments come with a story of where they fit in the Strout timeline. Additionally, there are more than 20 cellar doors within a 1.5km, including Leconfield, Wirra Wirra and Down The Rabbit Hole, this is the perfect location to explore the McLaren Vale wine region..
