White Scaur Annexe is a self-contained, stand-alone building with a first floor modern apartment situated in an idyllic rural setting in the Lake District National Park, near the village of Bassenthwaite. The Hide Lodge is a stylish space, designed with relaxing and retreating in mind. It is cosy and warm with underfloor heating. The open plan lounge and living area has full width bi-fold doors, which allows the space to be fully opened up to feel like part of the woodland beyond. The main bedroom boasts sliding french doors, also overlooking the woodland and stream, with a bath placed to enjoy this view. There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

Our luxury detached Lakeland cottage in the village of Lorton sits in a hidden gem of a valley and is a year round destination . Two beautiful bedrooms one of which can turn into single beds and each with their own bathrooms offers flexibility for both couples and families. We have a well equipped cooks kitchen with Everhot range and a stocked larder. Parking for three cars , EV charger , bike storage , gardens and a BBQ this is a great base to enjoy the magic of our Lakeland valley.

Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.

Hovel House Shed

The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.
