Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Enjoy the cottage feel of this recently renovated (new cabinets, flooring, appliances) and charmingly decorated home, located in close proximity to local attractions! Our 650 square foot cottage is ideal for 1 - 4 guests.

My home is located in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood on the northeast side of town close to parks, trails, the Eel River and the 4-H fairgrounds which is just around the corner. VIBRANT EVENT CENTER 1.9 miles away. It takes only a few minutes to get anywhere you want to go in Logansport from this location. If clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing quarters is what you desire during your stay with easy access to anywhere in Logansport, than this is it.

The former barn structure has been beautifully transformed in a rustic and comfortable lodge to rest, relax, and renew. We have renewed it into a fresh new life - as a lodge to invite friends and guests to enjoy and relax. The listed rate is for four people, and additional quests will be $25.00 per person.

This is a rustic cottage with old world charm. There are 2 fireplaces,. The home sits on a hill overlooking the channel that leads to Flint Lake. - Pet free -May not be appropriate for people with mobility issues. - Earth friendly cleaning products - Private beach & park access - Easy access to city center & university - One hour from downtown Chicago - National Lakeshore and Dunes State Park nearby - Wood fireplaces (winter only!)
