There’s fabulous views of Mt Buller from lounge room & deck. The Delatite River is 200 meters from the house, & Delatite winery is a short drive. The house is great in winter or summer months, with snow activities but hiking, mountain biking and horse riding nearby.

Villa Jones, perched on one of Eildon‘s prime locations, offers a mid century modern retreat with sprawling grounds. Welcome to our beautiful Mansfield Family Retreat, only minutes walk to the town centre for cafes/pubs/shopping, wetlands & cycling rail trail, information centre, sporting/playground/skate park precinct and Mansfield Mt Buller Bus Line. For the boating and fishing enthusiasts, Lake Eildon is 10 minutes and Lake Nillahcootie 20 minutes drive. To explore Victoria's High Country for skiing, bush walking, 4X4 and mountain bike riding, the entrance to Mt Buller is 45 minutes away.

Rustic shed house in Merrijig

When people look for a rustic getaway, they often mean 5 star wrapped in corrugated iron. This is not that. This is truly rustic - old timber from the cattleyards line the base of the walls. The bathroom basin is from Nanna's 150 year old house. The tin lining is from the roof of our shearing shed, complete with authentic rust marks. Not suitable for small children due to stairs. Come experience our 'Shed House' - a truly rustic accomodation experience in the High Country.

The house is close to the high country with beautiful views. The apartment is ideal for a small family or couple. Even though it is attached to the house it is very private. All bedding/towels etc. supplied. Guests interested in accessing Mt. Buller for the snow season, mountain biking, bush walking or just taking in the wonderful scenery will find this location ideal.
