The reviews It was conveniently located near the Nintendo Museum (only 4 stops on the Kintetsu line). Living in a traditional Japanese house and talking to Japanese people was a great experience. It was a 2-minute walk from the bus stop that took me directly to Fushimi Inari. The view from the top was amazing, overlooking the city of Kyoto. It's a little far from the center but it was quiet and I slept well. Uzu introduced us to some restaurants around the inn, and they were all delicious.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Traditional "Kyo-Machiya" with open-air bath. Whole house rent for one group, so you can relax with your family, friends or lovers. Please take a bath to recover from the fatigue of your journey. Moreover, we prepare a massage chair, so you will have a good sleep at night. It takes only 2 min walk to "Sumizome Station", so great access to sightseeing spots such as "Kiyomizu Temple" or "Fushimi-Inari Shrine". There are many restaurants and grocery stores around the house.
