So chuffed we found this place! As a group of 7 girls we had plenty of room, great location for nearby walks and easy access to eat/drink out. The novelty of the animals around the house was really fun and the house itself was lovely. Very comfy, had everything we needed and the luxury of the hot tub was an added plus. Julia was really great with all the information prior to arrival and the gentleman who look after the animals were super friendly. Would love to go back and would highly recommend.

An excellent few nights at this wonderful home. All we needed for a few relaxing nights away and a trip to Alton towers ! Pictures don’t do it justice, it is wonderful. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

We loved our stay, the location is amazing. You are in the countryside but within driving distance to major city's. We loved the hot tub to relax in after our daily adventures and our son loved the reading nook to chill. We would definitely recommend and will be back.

Pauline was lovely and friendly, and showed me to the lodge when I arrived. Dog friendly site and close by with easy access to other surrounding areas. Amazing views and very peaceful. Thanks for having us.

We had a lovely relaxing few days staying here! The kids absolutely loved the animals and wanted to feed them every day! The cottage was beautiful and cosy! The hot tub was an added bonus too! We were just a short drive from Blackpool, so had trips to the pleasure beach, zoo and lots more. The welcome basket was also an added touch, which was very kind. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend and be back! We also can’t thank Hannah enough for returning our much beloved toy rabbit! Hannah went out of her way to check the property after we had accidentally left ‘Bun bun’ behind. She even sent it the next day to our daughters delight. Absolutely wonderful stay, would love to return soon!

Der Aufenthalt bei Rhian war einfach nur wundervoll in allen Bereichen! Es war herrlich ruhig zum Entspannen! Es war ein wunderschönes Haus, in dem wir uns sofort Wohlgefühls haben und wir auch bei Regen herrlich relaxen konnten. Die Ausstattung war perfekt und fehlte etwas, war Rhian sofort zur Stelle. Wir konnten uns immer an sie wenden, auch bei Fragen zur Umgebung! Sie hat das Haus liebevoll eingerichtet, das spürt man an jeder Ecke und hat auch zu unseren Kindern sofort einen Draht aufgebaut. Für unsere 7 köpfige Familie war es ein absolut entspannter und erholsamer Urlaub. Man muss sich allerdings in absoluter Natur und City Ferne wohl fühlen! Für uns war es perfekt!!! Danke Rhian!!!

I booked this for my disabled brother, his disabled friend and a carer. Very modern with really comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Perfect location to visit all the amenities in Blackpool and far enough away to relax after a busy day sightseeing. They can’t wait to go back next year!

This was our 3rd time at the Shepherds Lodge and once again it was a 5 star stay. Beautiful lodge with amazing views. Lovely place to sit in the evening with a drink and plenty of great walks nearby. Thank you 😊
