Beate home is truly a "home away from home". Each day I went into Durban, I looked forward to getting home. The home is tastefully designed. She just bought a new wooden table for 6. All the wood in the house matches the lush garden that you're surrounded by. :-) Anything you can possible need is in the home. Beate is also lovely enough to get whatever you may need. Walking distance to anything you need. I really enjoy this home!

Always great to stay - very conveniently located near a mall

Our stay at Cathy and Jono’s property exceeded our expectations. Cathy kept checking in on us while we were still on the way since the weather was not so favourable. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, she had the heater on for us and gave us a guided tour of their stunning house that is beautifully designed and very spacious. Cathy and Jono went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. They were just a text/ phone call away whenever we needed something, and this truly made us feel valued as guests. Thank you for being such incredible hosts Cathy and Jono, this trip will always hold a special place in our hearts because of your warmth and hospitality. We cannot wait for our next visit!

Thank you Sharon and Ronny for treating us so well and facilitating our time together as a wider family. Visiting my sick sister, the location was great for us and is quiet and secure. Your home is a real home from home. The rooms are big and we loved the living area. We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck, watching birds and monkeys in the park across the road, using your sparkling pool,and having a braai. Great open plan & spacious home! The master bedroom particularly stands out! The estate is great with a variety of places to eat and explore. Appreciated the facilities as we had a toddler so this made life a lot easier.

This was an absolutely awesome house to stay in. The reason being, it was a home. With all the amenities for a superb stay. The garden and pool area is simply a sight to behold. Susans attention to detail and her ability to guage what we required, her openness, flexibility and kindness was something we were not expecting. This made our stay extraordinary. Best ever 100% I loved it

I had such a wonderful stay here—one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The apartment is exactly as described (if not better): tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and full of thoughtful touches that really elevate the stay. A bottle of wine and a selection of Nespresso pods were waiting for me on arrival, which was such a lovely welcome after a long journey. The location is peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful sea view that you can enjoy right from the upstairs lounge It felt like the perfect retreat, yet it’s still just a short drive to shops, restaurants and the beach is opposite! The hosts were brilliant—friendly, responsive, and clearly take great pride in making guests feel at home. Everything has been done to a really high standard, from the linens to the kitchen equipment to the little design details. It’s the kind of place where you instantly relax and know you’re in good hands. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Claire’s place was a lovely stay. We felt right at home. Only a few minutes from shops & restaurants in walking distance. Great stay & highly recommend.

Beautiful view, the ridge and the Indian ocean. Very spacious, comfortable and cosy place. Very clean and well kept. Everything you need is within reach with easy access to the Oceans mall and surroundings.

The apartment location was great with easy access to the beach. Apartment was very clean and neat - enjoyed our stay. The only downside of the apartment are the stairs - there are two flight of stairs - one as you enter to get to the kitchen and living room and the second to get to the bedrooms. Stairs we very narrow, not suitable for the elderly an a mission to carry up all our things

Great location, nice accommodation and great host who communicates well.

It was an awesome stay. I was inspired by the facial recognition access control system. It utilises biometric technology to identify and authenticate individuals based on their facial features. When you check in, they capture your image for reference, which is then stored and used to verify the identity when attempting to access doors or elevators via facial scanning 🤖 👌🏼. Will definitely come back again for longer periods.

I had a great time with my mother. The place was easy to find, we enjoyed our stay and the view is absolutely amazing. I am a Durbanite, but I haven’t lived home in over 12 years so it was nice to take out my mom for her 64th birthday and enjoy this lovely home as our vacation home. It was sad to leave and I wish I booked more days, we will be returning on another family vacation.

We reached out to Siphesihle after a terrible experience at another AirBnB listing. We were on our way to Siphesihle's place within 2 hours. We're forever grateful for his hospitality when we needed it the most! The home was beautifully decorated, clean, safe, spacious, and near plenty of restaurants. Though it was on a busy strip, my family (including a toddler) had uninterrupted rest each night.

Simon and Matt were great hosts. Very communicative and ready to help. Super friendly as well. The place is amazing. Close to Florida Rd with lots of restaurants. Felt at home. Will be visiting soon

What a beautiful spot! From the moment you arrive you feel as though you can exhale. Stunning place, beautiful furniture linen and every amenity. Special touches like great coffee, milk in the fridge and just all round welcoming space. Oh but the views of the ocean!! Wow! Literally a few steps away with direct beach access and access to the promenade with its host of beautiful restaurants and close proximity to shopping etc. You can’t get better value for money in such a beautiful space and location than this spot in Umhlanga! Oh and the host was the cherry on top. Warm, helpful, responsive. I will be booking again! That’s for sure. 🔥🔥🔥

Paola was an absolutely amazing host. She provided us with clear instructions up front and was extremely communicative. She assisted us with all of our inquiries and she made us feel right at home. The place is breathtaking and exactly as per the pictures. It’s peaceful, with an amazing view and close to any and every restaurant you would need. We will definitely be back

Great place to stay in Durban, well stocked kitchen and loved the trees outside the window. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who visit Durban and looks for a place that's a bit quieter and close to some restaurants.
