On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. The built-in cedar hot tub on the deck is a perfect spot for stargazing. Great location, only a 5 minute drive to town, a quick walk to hiking trails. Find your new happy place.

As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.

Cabin in the Sky in Pine Cove-Idyllwild

Nestled among cedars and oaks in the woods of Pine Cove, let this "Cabin in the Sky" be your mountain retreat. The spacious porch accommodates the trunks of tall pines giving it a treehouse feel. There is a table for dining al fresco, L-shaped outdoor seating and a swing just for gazing at the stars. Wrap yourself in silence; the only sound you will hear is that of foraging woodpeckers and nuthatches, or happy squirrels scurrying about. Celebrate wilderness in this cozy, secluded retreat!

Treetop Hideout · On 2.5 Acres of Private Forest

Treetop Hideout is a classic alpine chalet perched high on the ridge overlooking Idyllwild village, surrounded by panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains. This secluded, quiet little cabin is for all forest lovers, but would be most enjoyed by folks with an adventurous spirit (see Winter Access). You will be greeted with the stillness of the woods, sunrise + sunset views from two cantilevered balconies, all while wrapped in a cozy, luxurious interior.
