Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Newly Renovated Condo on Mount Washington

This is a newly renovated, top floor, one bedroom condo in Ptarmigan Ridge with views of the slope. Drive in/out and 100 yards to ski in/out. The living room has a propane fireplace and 48" wall mount TV with cable and a DVD Player. The two double-sided pillow-top single beds in the bedroom can be made up separately or pushed together and made up as a king bed. The bedroom has its own 32" wall mounted TV with DVD Player. This custom timber frame chalet has been rebuilt from the ashes of the old chalet that was originally built in the 80's. Basecamp Chalet gives guests the opportunity to gaze over Strathcona Park, watch the sunrises, sunsets, and moonscapes, and have a the perfect spot to experience storm watching and the snow flakes fall. Walking and hiking trails right outside the front door. A perfect getaway in any season. You will be renting the upper main two floors of the chalet.
