From the moment we arrived Pam was so welcoming & hospitable! The location is so amazing with shops down the road. The place was so cute & well looked after. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% stay here again in the future. Highly recommend location!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Suzy was kind, generous and lovely to be around/work with from start to finish. The house and property were beautiful and were located near beautiful hikes and river fun. This was more like a B&B stay! When I asked if we could use the kitchen- Suzy responded back with yes, of course and she provided breakfast- good eggs, toast, coffee with homemade salsa! We went to be closer to where we were hiking the next day and ended up with an unexpected retreat night/morning. The deck is accessible from both the kitchen and the main bedroom and overlooks the private property- wonderful view. This was more than just a place to spend the night, and we are thankful to have met Suzy and to have experienced this wonderful home. We will definitely be back.

When you stay in M and V’s amazing home, you are in the presence of two of the most caring, thoughtful, generous, gracious, kind, impressive, talented, warm, welcoming, good-humoured, and fun people you will meet. You may also find yourself using an abundance of positive adjectives to describe your time! Your stay takes place in a beautiful home with wonderful, natural light, a magical garden paradise, and a friendly neighborhood. Your hosts know very well how to host and are Portland experts. It is a joy to gaze out of the windows and to see magnificent plants, roses, trees, and a wide variety of birds who you can tell are also very happy to be part of the life of this lovely urban farm. The bed is so comfortable. There is super solid WiFi and nice desk space. The two dogs are adorable! The local park and library are within walking distance. Shops and anything else you might want are also conveniently close by. I feel enriched as a person and am forever beyond grateful.

I called Sally's home The Rosie Cottage, as my room was decorated in rose fabrics. It's a convenient location with friendly, caring, thoughtful hosts. Very quiet and peaceful, with beautiful surroundings.

Staying here was a delight! It is beautifully decorated throughout and makes you feel like you are home. Come hungry to breakfasts! The food is incredible. Such attention and care is given to everything. Good walking routes, too! I highly recommend staying here. I will be back!

I enjoyed a lot my stay here. Check-in was super easy as Stephen/Tim provided prompt and informative responses and instructions including street/neighborhood parking directions. They made getting the $5 daily parking pass a breeze. The place is cozy, warm, and comfortable, a nice stay in the city! Neighborhood was great to walk around too! Great clean, comfortable stay. Simple yet well equipped and easy check in. Economy pillow was the only thing I’d improve. I appreciated the AC unit in my room- only way I would have survived the stuffy heatwave upstairs. The kitchen is spacious with the basic necessities and clear instructions. 1.5 bath is wonderful for multiple guests

Good accommodations, street noise with garbage pick up was loud, and woke me up too early. My fault for not wearing ear plugs.

Lovely little “city cabin” in the trees. We booked this house for our getting ready space before our wedding. It was cozy and just the right amount of space. Waking up every morning and looking out the windows was pretty magical! I really enjoyed the gas fireplace with a timer on it so that I didn’t accidentally leave it on and turn the upstairs into an oven. 😅 We appreciated the retro charm and funk of this house, and found it immaculately clean upon arrival! We may have to come back next year for our anniversary to enjoy it all over again.

Tatiana is a sweetie!! Her house and our room were absolutely lovely, she is an artist with dried and living plants. The room we stayed in was quiet and peaceful and the bathroom supplied many high end products. Tatiana served us a tasty breakfast of coffee and tea, fresh fruit, yummy banana bread and a simple but delicious cheese and scallion omelette. Then, on top of all that good stuff~ she treated us to an afternoon at the Portland Japanese Gardens where the cherry blossoms were out in full force. Thank you Tatiana for a Birthday to remember ♥️

Faith is an amazing host…very responsive and friendly. She made me feel at home, like an old friend. I enjoyed visiting with her. The bed was super comfortable. The location was super convenient for the purposes of my trip.

Beautiful family, a beautiful home in a lovely community. There is a gorgeous yard to relax and enjoy the birds singing and refreshing breezes. Spa-like, feel right at home.
