Wonderful weekend stay! A little tricky finding it at first, but the cabin was beautiful. We had to do some searching for places to eat locally. Highly recommend Pizza Factory and Deb’s diner in Shelby! We will definitely be back

Great little gem. Our family really enjoyed staying here. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped with everything. Host is super responsive. The cabin was clean and stocked. Definitely plan to come back in the summer to take advantage of all the amenities

Awesome stay, we have done this with the family for a few years and really have a wonderful time between the cabin and the amenities at double jj. The place is hard to find as the directions take you down a service road, but once there it’s a dream.

The stay was great and Kurt was super friendly and responsive. I had to call when my service wouldn’t load the check in code for the door and he chatted and gave us directions to get to the lakes by the house - all walkable by the way. Great location and the pie the hosts made was delicious! Thank you and we’ll be back again!

We really enjoyed the location and being able to have coffee on the deck overlooking the lake - so beautiful and relaxing! This cottage was a perfect weekend getaway. We also recommend Hightower Bar & Grill for great walleye! Alex and Samantha were extremely prompt with all communications.

We spent a couple days exploring Double JJ Ranch and Robert’s house was about 7-10 minutes from the ranch. Perfect location for us! It was a great house to rent.

This was our second year staying in Mary K’s cabin. The location is unmatched. You can see and hear the lake through the trees. The path down to the private beach takes just two minutes. There is all the beach gear you need, and two fire pits for a beach bonfire. The cabin is cozy and does the trick for a beach vacation. We plan to return many times over.

There was a slight hiccup with our reservation but Daniel graciously accommodated us anyway, for which we were very grateful. We loved being on the water and watching the sunset. We also enjoyed exploring the area. It was a great trip. Thanks, Daniel!

Jillian was extremely responsive with any questions we had. The property was beautiful and private and we loved the A-frame cabin. Very charming and cozy - a great place to unwind and unplug. The property was nice to walk but we also took a short drive up to the Manistee River trail for a scenic all-day hike. The A-frame was very dog-friendly and safe for our pup. We loved our stay!

The cabin was perfect for our annual bike/hike and fall color trip to West Michigan. We could watch the sunset 100 feet from our doorstep and yet the art museum, restaurants and shopping in Muskegon were just 20 minutes away. The cabin was super clean, cozy and had everything needed.

Wonderful place for a weekend getaway! Private, quiet, and beautiful views. Will definitely be back to see this place in the summer!

We absolutely loved staying here! Mark & Amy are very kind and so quick to help with any questions. The house was extremely clean. It is on a beautiful piece of property and is filled with tons of things to do during your stay. We will definitely be back!

This was a great option for a quick getaway - we enjoyed building a fire and exploring the woods. Stayed cozy during a stormy night. Definitely recommend!

The cleanest, most modern “cabin in the woods” you could possibly ever stay in. Cozy and perfectly accommodated my family of 3. Mark and Amy had everything labeled and a very handy binder of information, including their minimal check-out instructions, as well as a list of places to explore and eat. Highly recommend if you are in the area and want a more outdoorsy stay.

Wow, what an amazing experience! The location was incredibly peaceful and beautiful, set wonderfully amidst the woods. The outdoor bathroom was impressively clean and the surroundings were so quiet. Additionally, the host provided thoughtful extras that I didn't even realize I would need until I arrived, such as wood, face wipes, paper towels, and equipment for cooking over the fire.

This was one of those trips we looked forward to for a long time, and I’ve missed after it’s done. Dragon base camp was perfect for adventuring on our bikes and recharging. Cannot wait to go back!!

The cabin was spotlessly clean, easy to enter and leave, and in the most beautiful location. We had a few snafus but Brandon responded immediately and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend
