What a magical place! We absolutely loved our stay here and already dream of coming back. The inside is soooo beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in on rainy days. We could never get sick of watching the sheep roaming the hillsides or the ever changing coast from the fabulous sunroom. The only downside is we were unaware of the time involved to bring the wood-fired hot tub up to temp. It takes an hour to fill with water and “up to 3.5 hours to heat in the winter”. Since we can’t leave the fire unattended, we weren’t able to enjoy it until our third night since we arrived home so late on the previous nights. It is also very hard to find in the dark and the pin led us to the wrong spot. Google Mapsing the house name took us to the right spot, but we arrived in the dark and were unable to see the sign to the bottom right of the gate. Everything else was completely perfect and we highly recommend staying in this lovely place.

Para quem procura sossego a vista desra casa é maravilhosa .. Fica numa vila tranquila, com supermercado perto e poucos restaurantes. Casa espaçosa, bem decorada, devidamente aquecida e com lareira. Cozinha totalmente equipada. Nos preferimos cozinhar para ter a sensação de sermos moradores. Quartos tamanho adequado. Tudo limpo. Vista para o mar. Sauna e jacuzzi a disposição. Pena ficarmos apenas 2 dias. Recomendo.

Carole and her husband were extremely kind, responsive and helpful. They proactively shared with us informations on road closures, they also left us homemade shortbread and fudge upon arrival. The house is very spacious, cozy and great for bigger groups.

Great house in a quiet location. We were very comfortable and it was well equipped. A short walk to the supermarket and a nice walk to the centre of Stornoway. Perfect short stay, thank you!

Great place for family! Garden, baby's furniture, huge house and garden. Great for kids to run around. Especially when the weather is bad.

Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen, so dass man Portree fußläufig erreicht. Die Zimmeraufteilung ist super und das Haus umfangreich ausgestattet. Der Blick auf das Meer ist sehr idyllisch! Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren!

The house was perfect for our stay with a family of seven. The kids loved the spacious lounge and plenty of places including garden to play games. The carved wood features made the house feel homely and comfortable including large table for family dinners. The view was breathtaking every day and it was easy to do walks from the house around the coast or into surrounding hills. Definitely recommended for a fantastic holiday on Skye.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Fay's beautiful house. Enough space for our family and the garden was very much appreciated by our children. The house is refurbished to a high and modern standard with a fully equipped kitchen. It's also in walking distance of Portree High Street and Harbour and a great starting point to explore Skye. Would highly recommend!

Its was an amazing place to stay with all amenities and sadie and angus were very helpful for check in..its was a 5 min walk away from portree Square,worth place to stay

A nossa estadia em Portree foi extremamente agradável. A casa é muito funcional e aconchegante, com uma charmosa sacada na parte de trás. Os quartos têm um tamanho adequado e a internet funciona muito bem.

What an Amazing place to stay. The location was fantastic as it was so close to all the shops or to go for something to eat. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything I could possibly need. I will definitely stay again.

Da vi havde hund med, var det rigtig godt at kunne gå ned gennem engen med får til strandarealet, hvor vores hund kunne løbe frit.

I had an absolutely amazing stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described—if not better. We felt welcome and comfortable throughout our time there. One of the highlights for me was getting to spend time with their adorable dogs😍🫠 They were so friendly and sweet—If you’re an animal lover, you might get chance to see them :) that’s just the cherry on top! I can’t recommend this place enough and would happily stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Mary Floras exceeded our expectations! Country setting yet close to dining and a store if needed. Took a day and drove to Old Man of Storr, Quiraing and more! Her place was very comfortable, well stocked and immaculate!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Katherine’s place. The home is situated in a quiet and peaceful street, which was perfect for us to relax after our daily outings. At the same time, it was just a short walk to town, so we had easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The house itself was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, everything from the fully stocked kitchen to the extra towels and comfortable bedding made us feel right at home. The host puts a lot of care into making the space welcoming and functional for guests. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return in the future. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a comfortable stay!

Was a nice flat, my traveling companion did have trouble with the see through metal grate and stairs due to height sensitivity. Don’t expect to roll your suitcase, there are no sidewalks between the car park and the front door, only stone gravel, so pack light and manageable. Overall was a nice stay.

Amazing home in a beautiful part of the world. Bathroom was immaculate and the bed was super comfy. The kitchen had everything you could think of and Sheila and Mal were great hosts. Would love to stay again.

Yvette has a home in a wonderful place with two flats above. The location is a little far from the center of the island but totally worth it. Also it was good to know she was close by and se also have us a ton of tips that where excelent and made us enjoy even more our stay in the island. Thanks a lot Yvette!
