We had such an amazing escape here! We drove up and just said "WOW!". The views and jacuzzi take the cabin to the next level. The local wildlife make for such an adventure with the kids, and there is lots to do, despite being so remote. The kids loved playing pool and table tennis at the resort end. Susanne and Dave had everything in the house that we needed and provided the comforts and added extras that just made it all the more thoughtful. Come here prepared to cook all meals or drive into town and grab a meal, even the drive is nice. We loved clocking off from the world and just enjoying our time away from all the busy. Thanks so much for making our stay so memorable :)

We had a wonderful stay at Sugarloaf. The cabin is very well maintained, decorated and came with all the special touches you’d want for a perfect stay. The spa, kangaroo food & provisions including muesli and jams were especially appreciated. The landscaping is also immaculate whilst also being very well integrated into the nature. You can tell the owners really care about this place, especially when you see some other cabins on the same street that are far less well maintained. The only thing that could be improved is to note in the listing that the tap water comes from a tank so has to be filtered before you can drink it. Tim did provide a jug filter but as we had a baby and toddler with us we had to bring a lot of bottled water for drinking / sterilising. He did let me know a couple of days beforehand which was good. Other friends of ours had the same situation in nearby cabins but weren’t told and that left them in a pickle as the shops are a long way away. We’d love to stay again!

The most memorable get away we have ever had. Adorable and comfortable cabin with the most spectacular views. Adults, teens and kids all loved our stay and didn't want to leave. Lovely peaceful haven, tucked away at the end of the road around a pretty dam. Cottages are well spaced, well equipped and the grounds lovely to stroll through with our dogs. We loved doing a BBQ breakfast on the terrace and dinner in the restaurant was very good also. We would return to stay here again. Wifi reception is not great, but the peace and quiet is the trade off.

I would highly recommend kylies artists cottage! absolutely beautiful, her sculptures and artworks were even more beautiful and incredible than I could've imagined. Great location, walking distance to town. Very comfy bed, great sleep! Definitely will be returning to this beautiful accommodation!

Thank you Eloise and Troy for having us and our two dogs over the Christmas break. Lovely property with everything we needed, a spacious yard for the pups, and Eloise was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to get out of the city and be amongst nature for a few days :)

Fantastic accomodation, beautifully presented, great location. Would suit a family with kids or a large group, plenty of room for everybody.

Carol's site is very peaceful in the middle of nature. The DayDreamer - our accomodation - was the perfect set up for 2 families with many kids and 2 dogs! A lot of space outside to play as the campsites were not occupied during our stay ;) Very relaxing! Also plenty to do short drives away from 10 to 30 min (beach, horse ridding, treetops, even go karting near Newcastle!!) ; plenty to keep everyone busy. If your thing is eating / coffeeing out, there may be other better suited options but it was perfect for us! Thanks.

Great, quiet location and comfortable house. Nicely renovated bathroom and kitchen. No laundry though. The kids loved playing in the yard and exploring. We saw a wombat, kangaroos and kookaburra. The birds were lovely to wake up to in the morning and the fireplace was beautiful to relax in front of.

The perfect base for our Hunter adventure. Location is right in the middle of wine country, with wineries in all directions. The cabin itself was well maintained and had everything we wanted and needed for a perfect stay. They also accommodated our dog which was a major selling point. The accommodation is owned by Harkham Estate, so a free wine tasting was included. The tasting was one of our favourites of the trip. The communication from booking to leaving was first class and always willing to assist where needed. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Krinklewood! The surroundings were stunning, and everyone who worked there was so friendly and accommodating. We did not want to leave! We loved the outdoor pizza oven and cute Instamix camera! We will definitely be back soon. Thanks for an amazing stay x

We had a quick one night stop over at Elisa’s place It’s in a beautiful setting quite and peaceful but nice and close to the highway which suited us travelling through. Lovely cabin very well set up and would suit a longer stay. Was great to see the horses too I would definitely recommend

We were the only ones on the property during our stay so it was very quiet and serene. The area is well lit during the night and in the day, the property is lovely to walk around. The town centre is not far away so there’s easy access to groceries and restaurants. Despite only having a kitchenette, the portable electric stove, and outdoor grill was completely sufficient for cooking meals. Every appliance and all furniture were extremely new and clean. Perfect for a peaceful nature retreat for couples.

What a beautiful place to relax in peaceful surroundings that were private and had so many little extras that made our stay even more enjoyable. Feeding the ponies, the dart board, bbq, we didn’t even get to the board games and cards that were also assessable. We loved our stay. Thank you for having us.

Great cabin in a farm setting. We enjoyed our stay at this accommodation. It’s was spotless, stylishly decorated and comfortable. Great bathroom with a good strong shower. The setting was idyllic, with wide open spaces and greenery, yet minutes from town. Hosts were wonderful! Very friendly, super responsive and flexible. It was a good value for money for 4 people. And while small, it had everything we needed. Thank you!

Tha cabin was very clean and we had convenient and clear instructions to get in. It is not a house but a high standard cabin in a holiday park. The park was quiet and the swimming pool great. Access to the beach from the holiday park, 2 mn walk. Easy and beautiful beachfront. We had a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

We stayed at Danielle’s for 14 nights using it as a base to visit family and the Central Coast. The location is beautifully quiet, off the road and very private. The cottage, a converted stable block, is rustic and authentic, well presented and beautifully clean. The beautifully appointed bathroom with a great shower, is situated in a separate building only a very short distance from the front door and a late night trip to the loo provides a wonderful view of the night sky. Danielle was a delightful host who was quick to respond to any questions and on hand to help. I would thoroughly recommend Danielle’s cottage to anyone wishing for a relaxing break away from it all.

As animal lovers, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in the cute cabin among the paddocks. It's got a big balcony where we had our breakfast in the morning, and since we were lucky, we also got to watch the horse riding lesson while having breakfast! It's just nice to be able to roam around and greet with Margrete's friendly dogs and horses. Margrete made us feel well taken cared for and we really appreciated that we were able to see how the horses were fed up close while having Margrete explain the process. Overall, a very friendly, relaxing and educational experience that ticks all our boxes for a weekend escape from our city rat race.

Our stay at Arinya over Christmas was absolutely delightful, the view and wallabies were the top attraction for us, the house is great, well equipped and clean, the resort’s pool, tennis court and pool table are well maintained and considering it was Christmas period we’d expect it crowded but for our surprise it was completely empty and quiet, we enjoyed every single moment. Would definitely go back again! Arinya is such a paradise to relax and unwind and Archana is a wonderful host, always prompt to help, special thanks to her!
