It's a delight to stay at Banksia Beach House, so relaxing and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped even down to herbs, spices, sauces etc. The beds are super comfy as well. Loved the beautiful outdoor area with wonderful views all the way down to Terrigal and being able to walk to Spoon Bay Beach was wonderful. Will definitely look forward to staying here again.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Susan’s place! Her house was incredibly cozy and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Susan was also very accommodating and responsive to all our needs, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended! DJDVE

A beautiful house in a fantastic spot near Birubi beach and the Tomaree Coastal walk. The layout is great and the house is very stylish. The spa was awesome. Seem small at first but really deep and heats up within 2.5 hours. Plenty of space in the house for a family of 5. Walkable to Birubi beach (10 mins) which is patrolled with a cafe and is great for boogie boarding. Join the coastal walk only 1 min walk away, bring hiking boots as can be a bit muddy/rocky.

The place is clean and tidy, you can walk to the beach and close to a lot of activities even kids activities we hat a lot of fun I recommend going to this place

Dean and Lexy's home is just beautiful it is perfect in every way the home is absolutely immaculate and everything is so clean and beautifully presented. The hot tub is just what the doctor ordered such a perfect way to just relax and enjoy everything the Hunter has to offer. We can not speak highly enough of the property and hosts Dean and Lexy they have though of absolutely everything i would not hesitate in recommending this beautiful home to anyone looking for the perfect Hunter getaway.

A wonderful stay in a great big house with plenty of space and things to do. The host was very amenable and helpful and we had a wonderful time. Rooms were comfortable and the big loft space with lots of beds would suit a group with lots of older children, to have a big sleepover of sorts. Well fenced and set up for dogs too, with plenty of parks and dog friendly beaches nearby. Kitchen and cooking facilities had everything you need to actually cook, even for the larger groups that could fit in such a big house.

Beautiful home, very spacious & perfect for large families or groups. Yard was fenced & fully secure for our dogs. Very clean & well appointed, would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place. My folks loved it. The House is Lovely and cozy. Backyard is Huge full of Plants and Tress. Calm and peaceful vibe at the stay. Absolutely recommend for a stay.

One of the best views I have ever seen. House is great for a holiday get away. Well stocked with plates and bowls etc. the house has lovely amenities and close to water which is awesome for fishing and supping. Would definitely go back! Lovely trail runs in area too! It’s a lovely home!

My partner and I spent Christmas at Lydia’s Peace villa. The stay was excellent. Super comfy bed, swimming pool during the and hot tub in the evening were the perfect combination for a relaxing getaway. We will be back.

We had such a wonderful romantic getaway this weekend, everything we could have wished for! We met Lydia and her family, such lovely people and so accommodating. We highly recommend reading all of Lydia’s recommendations as we followed many of them and had the loveliest weekend. Such a beautiful place, we will absolutely be back again - we already can’t wait! This place is amazing! Even better than the pictures. The location is perfect, just off the main road and so close to winery’s as well as convenient petrol station etc. The farm itself was stunning. The place was so well kept, with the hot tub and small lake making the sunset views over the Hunter valley even more amazing. Waking up to 10s of kangaroos just outside the bedroom window was surreal. Check in was super easy and communication was 10/10 throughout. Could not recommend this place enough!

Sonia was friendly and quick to respond. the villa was beautiful and private. perfect for a weekend away. the spa was always heated and the small touches like chocolates and a bottle of wine was extremely thoughtful. Great cabin located inside the Eaglereach Wilderness retreat. This particular cabin was nice and private, tucked away from the other houses. It had everything we needed for a comfy stay, and enough games to keep our kids entertained on a VERY rainy day! The facilities in the complex are great too: pool, outdoor gym, playground, small dam (for paddling), tennis court and rec room with pool table and ping pong table. A great holiday spot, all within east reach of Sunday. Sensational views too!

We had such an amazing escape here! We drove up and just said "WOW!". The views and jacuzzi take the cabin to the next level. The local wildlife make for such an adventure with the kids, and there is lots to do, despite being so remote. The kids loved playing pool and table tennis at the resort end. Susanne and Dave had everything in the house that we needed and provided the comforts and added extras that just made it all the more thoughtful. Come here prepared to cook all meals or drive into town and grab a meal, even the drive is nice. We loved clocking off from the world and just enjoying our time away from all the busy. Thanks so much for making our stay so memorable :)

We had a wonderful stay at Sugarloaf. The cabin is very well maintained, decorated and came with all the special touches you’d want for a perfect stay. The spa, kangaroo food & provisions including muesli and jams were especially appreciated. The landscaping is also immaculate whilst also being very well integrated into the nature. You can tell the owners really care about this place, especially when you see some other cabins on the same street that are far less well maintained. The only thing that could be improved is to note in the listing that the tap water comes from a tank so has to be filtered before you can drink it. Tim did provide a jug filter but as we had a baby and toddler with us we had to bring a lot of bottled water for drinking / sterilising. He did let me know a couple of days beforehand which was good. Other friends of ours had the same situation in nearby cabins but weren’t told and that left them in a pickle as the shops are a long way away. We’d love to stay again!

Lovely peaceful haven, tucked away at the end of the road around a pretty dam. Cottages are well spaced, well equipped and the grounds lovely to stroll through with our dogs. We loved doing a BBQ breakfast on the terrace and dinner in the restaurant was very good also. We would return to stay here again. Wifi reception is not great, but the peace and quiet is the trade off.

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

Michael was a fabulous host - very helpful, responsive and accommodating. The location is so peaceful and the accommodation itself is well-equipped and stylish. It is off-grid but still offered little luxuries which we appreciated. I particularly liked the cookware and kitchen amenities - we cooked every night for a family of 4 and the place didn't lack anything in that regard. The bbq, woodfire hot tub and fire pit were the highlights of the accommodation. Thank you Michael - we would love to book your place again in the future!

Thank you Eloise and Troy for having us and our two dogs over the Christmas break. Lovely property with everything we needed, a spacious yard for the pups, and Eloise was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to get out of the city and be amongst nature for a few days :)
