We had the absolute best time staying here. We had two families staying together, 10 total. With more than enough space! The location was perfect. The space was clean and cozy. We had the best time and made some amazing memories with our friends. Also we slept at night on the third floor with a window opened and it was so quiet outside! Thank you for opening your home to us!

Three couples wanted a central meeting place to spend some quality time catching up with each other. It was just the perfect place! We had a nice time talking in the hot tub, around the fire on the cozy porch, and in the exquisite pool. The goats added a nice touch to this country setting. The kitchen had all the cooking supplies we needed and more. We did a good bit of eating onsite so that was appreciated. We unfortunately didn’t use the pingpong table or other games but they were there to enjoy. There were plenty of towels and the new washer and dryer were great. It’s a great location to experience the many local wineries. Bobbi and Keith were excellent hosts, friendly and gave great suggestions of things to do. Everything about our stay was wonderful. We hope to return soon!

Susan’s farm house was perfect for enjoying a relaxing getaway with plenty of space for multiple families and kids. All of the spices are very large and honestly it’s better in person than in the pictures. We would recommend it to anyone and return again! The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you could need. And it was great being right on the winery.

Great location next to slopes and restaurants! Easy to get to, park out front and easy access to enter. Cozy and comfortable inside and everything available we would need for the weekend. Appreciated the plentiful firewood right out front. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the summer! Thank you for sharing your mountain condo with our family!

Jamie's house was beautiful, very well stocked, and comfortable. It was the perfect spot for our girls' trip. Jamie and her team were SO quick to respond to any questions we had, and they did so in a kind and helpful manner. The house would be a wonderful place for a family trip, too - there were kids' utensils and plates in the kitchen, the pool has a tall locked gate, and the yard is great for running around. the sound machines in the bedrooms were also a nice touch! We enjoyed sitting outside on the back porch and taking in the beautiful, peaceful views. I'd recommend this Afton house to friends and would stay here again if I'm ever back in the area!

Our family of four needed a quiet get away, and we enjoyed the beautiful days and evenings, inside and on the deck! Hikes nearby, spa nearby, restaurants, grocery, gas also nearby. Great resort year round! Lots of activities if you want them, and lots of peaceful nature if you want. Great!

Having the lovely house in this location enabled our family to "meet in the middle" and enjoy Easter! It is a lovely place and felt like home! We were grateful for all the little extra touches! The lookout and hiking trail were both beautiful. The Market was a short walk from the house and the Discovery center was great for our granddaughter. Everyone we met in the area was friendly, including the firefighters who took time out from training to show their truck to the children! Thank you Elizabeth! We highly recommend this place!

Beautiful space to spend a weekend with friends. Lovely views from each room and the deck. Walkable hiking trails with waterfalls. Would stay here again.

Julie was a great host and very communicative. The house was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. We loved the views and the layout of the house - it is perfect for a weekend getaway in the mountains.

Myself and 6 of my closest friends, all women, had a wonderful time at Neal's house. The place was spotless, very private and very comfortable and it was an easy drive to downtown Charlottesville.

Alvin and Aimee’s place was wonderful!! The space inside and the views outside were great. Not avid skiers but we enjoyed going to the resort and watching our adult children snow boarding. The parking area gets pretty crowded on the weekends but it wasn’t an issue for us. The property had a couple of small issues but communication with the hosts were swift, easy and quickly addressed. Their property manager was on hand and was one of kindest gentlemen we met. If you are looking to visit the Wintergreen Resort area, book this property…. You will not be disappointed!!!

There was a date switch up and we had to wait a couple hours for the cleaning service to turnover the house, but the host was responsive and apologetic. Other than that, the house was as cozy, had a nice view, and the location was quiet and convenient for hiking. The recliners and couches were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked.

Perfectly suited the needs for our small family. Cozy feel. Exactly what we wanted for our mountain getaway. Good instructions both through Airbnb and a binder. Outdoor and screened porch was great.

Simply put, this could not have been a better stay. This place had everything we needed and was a short and super easy trip to the slope. The golf course being closed also made it easy for us to get our pups energy out. I highly recommend this spot to anyone coming to stay at the resort. Carol did amazing job communicating and even was willing to work with us on check out time so we could hit the slopes on chekout day. Will definitely be renting again next season if available.

It was a great experience for me and my family. We had a great time in a quiet neighborhood.

The house was in pristine condition inside. Kitchen well stocked and labeled. Plenty of open space to move about the house. Plenty of comfortable seating for our group. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms with amenities nice and clean. Towels are available for everyone. Plenty of gaming for all ages in the loft. Outside needed just a little love as lots of pollen needed to be cleaned off of the tables but there were plenty of paper towels to clean. Fire pit was lovely, we left wood behind for the next guests. Parking was a little inconvenient for our 4 cars but we made it work. Overall we all loved the home! Thank you!

Judy was very welcoming. The home was super clean and had all the amenities needed. She even baked us delicious blueberry muffins! The home sits on the mountainside in a beautiful location. And although it is near a busy highway, the traffic noise was not noticeable. Very easy access to the highway leading to Charlottesville and only a 25 minute drive. This home is in the heart of wine country with about a million different wineries as well as distilleries and breweries- not our thing, but if it is yours then this is the place to be.

Our stay was so wonderful and relaxing! We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch area and the birds visiting the feeders! Our entire group enjoyed comfortable beds, spacious rooms, a kitchen well-stocked with pans and cooking utensils and an extensive selection of games! Our hosts were gracious and communicative and provided some wonderful recommendations to area wineries! Would love to book again in the future!

I stayed at Terri's place with my wife and two friends. The house was spacious, very clean, and had plenty of room for all of us! It is a beautiful home with everything you could need. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway!

The hosts were fantastic! The property was even better than imagined! It was a peaceful, serene, beautiful home. Our family spent Easter together there and made some wonderful memories! We hope to visit again next year!

Anna May’s Wintergreen Cabin was just as described. I stayed with a fairly large group and it was such a cozy space. We all really felt at home and it was a perfect spot to catch up with friends. We especially enjoyed the fireplace. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would gladly book again!

The house is very welcoming, the yard beautiful and private. There are some sounds of traffic and neighbors, which was a bit of a surprise for us. We had gotten a different impression from the description and pictures. But all in all this was a peaceful and pretty ideal place. Only other comment: it would be helpful to have some instructions for the TV etc. We could not find any. Nor were there helpful suggestions for things to do or where to eat. Overall a great place
