Shorepark - waterfront cottage with stunning views

Shorepark Holiday Cottage is a delightful waterside cottage with stunning views, overlooking the estuary of the River Nith on the edge of Glencaple village, within a National Scenic Area. The old part of the house was originally a fisherman’s cottage built in the 1700’s, with its original beams, and the open plan modern extension gives a stunning panoramic view of the river, the birdlife and the landscape beyond. It makes an ideal base for exploring beautiful Dumfries & Galloway.

It stands in its own private well stocked gardens. It has a delightful patio area and summer house to take in the surrounding countryside. Kirkland Cottage is completely self-contained and is attached to our main house in an enclosed, secluded and large garden. Although only two miles from Dumfries Town Centre it is in a quiet, rural location. There is ample parking beside the cottage and a lockable room for storage of bicycles and other leisure equipment. The cottage provides a great base from which to enjoy the many cultural and outdoor activities available in the immediate locality.
