This charming cottage exceeded our expectations in every way! The property was immaculately clean and thoughtfully appointed with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The interior's fresh, well-maintained condition made us feel instantly at home. The highlight was definitely the convenient beach access - perfect for spontaneous walks and sunset views. We particularly appreciated all the special touches throughout the property that showed real attention to detail. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners while they were tending to the yard, and their warm hospitality added an extra special touch to our stay. Their care for the property is evident in every corner. We've already marked this cottage as a favorite for future visits. It's a true gem that delivers everything you could want in a beach getaway. Looking forward to our next stay!

Had a wonderful time staying at Dunetop Escape! The owners were very nice and responsive. Very knowledgeable about the area and made some awesome recommendations. The house was spotless and very accommodating. The house has a lot of usable space and even more sleeping areas! Loved that they made beach days so easy as they had everything you may ever need. Will absolutely be looking to book this location again and look forward to exploring more of Michigan City.

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt in dem tollem Haus - der Indiana Dunes National Park ist dabei fußläufig zu erreichen! Das Haus hat viele tolle Annehmlichkeiten, wie z.B. ein tolles Außengelände mit vielen gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten, eine Dampfdusche und auch viele kleinere weitere Extras! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen - vor allen Dingen werden sich Familien sehr gut aufgehoben fühlen. Die Umgebung lädt zu langen Strandspaziergängen ein, die Kommunikation mit Angie war dabei ausgezeichnet. Sie war äußerst hilfsbereit, reagierte immer sehr schnell auf Nachfragen und gab wichtige Tipps!

Great home! Perfect for our family really really enjoyed our stay

We greatly enjoyed All the Waters. Very clean, comfortable, relaxing house and grounds. We loved the private beach and enjoyed the view of the lake and sunsets sitting on the bluff. The 5+ minute trek to and from the beach was no problem for our geezer legs or our adult children carrying their toddler. We had plenty to do in the area on a rainy day.

We had a nice stay here. The cabin is very close to a beach and has a nice view of Lake Michigan. We watched the sunset there one evening. It is also only a short distance to Grand Mere State Park and Silver Beach in St Joseph which I highly recommend. The host was very responsive and friendly. The pictures on the listing are accurate. It is in a nice gated community which felt very safe.

My husband & I rented this gem for a week. The condo is spotless, kitchen has many amenities, tastefully decorated, very comfortable and we loved it! We loved being right on the water/ beach and close to town. Highly recommend this adorable condo.

Really enjoyed the cottage for our family of four. The place is walking distance to the beach and a local playground. We enjoyed staying in nature but being able to drive to New Buffalo for restaurants or other things. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

The place is super cute and cozy, the bed is comfy and the area is quiet and peaceful. I felt safe and right at home as I was here for an extended stay! I 100% recommend!

Phenomenal option for vacation!!! Beautiful home thats 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach on Lake Michigan. Lots of things to do for family, including a pool, small lake swimming, fishing, shuttleboard, pool table, ping pong, kayacking, stand-up paddle board, movie room, basketball court and tennis court!!! I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of things. Oh and coffee shop with snacks too on the ground. The homes are beautiful and well-taken care of. Kids told me they want to come back next summer!!! Indiana Sand Dunes is also just a 15 minute drive to the east end of the national park.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Ben's chalet! The location can't be beat, with 2 small private beaches just steps away, restaurants within a few minute drive and downtown St Joseph only a 15 min drive away. When we arrived the chalet had not been cleaned (miscommunication with his cleaning crew), but I messaged Ben and he promptly had someone come out to clean the property and refunded us our cleaning fee. Also the view from the back deck at sunset was breathtaking. We would definitely recommend this chalet!

The "tiny home" fit our needs just fine. The screened porch, campfire and gas grill added a nice evening activities. The shared pool is lovely and we were always in it alone!

The location, view, beach and pool were great! It was just where we wanted to be. The WiFi was a bit sluggish, so we had issues with our devices and the TV, but this wasn't a huge deal since we were out exploring most of the time.

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

This was our FIRST Z Family Vaca. Gathering our Blended Family with grand loves. :) Karen was proactive in reaching out. She was kind, helpful, gave us local recommendations and checked in on us. She had the bikes ready for our use as well as tons of other stuff! The home was extremely accommodating for a large family & extended gathering. All 8 adults & 4 grand loves had comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, blankets, etc and they had 3 bathrooms. Tons of gathering space, enough seating to enjoy visiting and hanging out . Nice sized kitchen and well stocked with dishes, seasonings and oils to cook with. PLUS baggies for saving food - we had some but needed more. There were games, toys, books, etc for both adults and kiddos, which was great! Outdoor use had kayaks, canoe, and paddleboat. We all enjoyed ALL of it. Lake view is SPECTACULAR! So relaxing, pleasant, enjoyable & safe. Very memorable & look forward to more to come. :) Thank you very much! Blessings, The Z Family :)

The view is beautiful! The cozy, family feel always works for us. We felt right at home. Plenty of room to be together but also have alone time if you so choose. The singing birds were beautiful, the visiting swans and ducks were fun to watch! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and pier! Its truly a relaxing place. Although we rarely go to the same place each summer, we would visit again. Hosts were accomodating, kind and welcoming! Thank you for sharing your home and giving us a place to make wonderful memories!

Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend get away! The house is even more gorgeous in person and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Taking in the view of the lake from the porch with a cup of coffee is a beautiful way to start the day and sitting around the fire pit on the beach is a great way to end the night! The location is a short drive to several restaurants and wineries and is especially pretty this time of year with the leaves changing. Aurelio was a great host, the house and amenities were fabulous and everyone had an amazing time—we will definitely be back!

This space is absolutely lovely! Spacious views of Lake Michigan, beautiful appointments throughout the house, uncluttered living areas, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, all within a short driving distance to restaurants/shopping. We've always wanted to stay right on the beach during winter -- Lake Michigan and this BnB did not disappoint! Our stay was a peaceful retreat all thanks to a gracious & accommodating host and owner.

Great place to run away from the city and enjoy the nature. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for some relaxation.

Kimberly's spot on Shavehead Lake is absolutely perfect. It's our second year in a row and we hope to continue the tradition for many more years. Great access to the lake, beautiful green space, peaceful and relaxing deck and patio areas and all the amenities you need.
