Over the last 2 years, we completely rebuilt this Little Guest House from the ground up while exploring and putting together the local's ultimate guidebook of the area. Deep in a holler between the mountains, The 48 is a fully renovated 1948 Spartan camper: aircraft-grade aluminum, built by a Tulsa plane-maker older than Airstream and rarer than the silver bullets everyone knows. Sip coffee between the peaks, then hike, raft, or climb the New River Gorge. Cozy midcentury interior, tankless hot showers, and a table that converts to a queen. Our steampunk Huxley House sits next door. Snug by design, so not great for big and tall folks.

Our treehouse is located in Boulder Trail, which is on over 100 acres of private land. It also includes a common area with a covered shelter, with an outdoor Fireplace that’s a short walk away. We are located 5 minutes from Summersville Lake and 15 minutes from New River Gorge National Park!

Step into romance in our custom designed deluxe 24-ft round Holly Rock Treehouse, wrapped around a towering oak reached by a magical 37-ft canopy bridge. Enter through French doors to dreamy forest views, then unwind in the private hot tub on the canopy-level deck. With a cozy 3-ft wraparound balcony, intimate picnic area, and golden light filtering through the trees, this treetop haven was made for love and unforgettable moments!

Cute 1-BR stone cottage close to NRG

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.
