We were new to this quiet part of Northern Ireland and it was a rare find to discover the Mourne Mountains, beaches and small villages close by. Jill’s home was the perfect escape for our family when we wanted to relax, cook, play games and watch movies. The hot tub was a bonus which we enjoyed despite the wet and cold rainy days. Would love to come back as we felt right at home

Lovely cozy cottage. Felt off the grid but still able to nip to the shop if needed. Hot tub was a real highlight. The views are amazing. Would definitely be back

We had a wonderful stay, we brought our 2 dogs and all thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Aileen is a superb host, always on hand to answer any questions or just have a quick chat. We enjoyed watching the horses and chickens being attended to throughout the day and the hot tub was a lovely way to end the days after walking along the beach or hiking in the mountains. 100% recommend

Great place to stay for walking etc, bars restaurants within walking distance aswell as the park and the scenery is excellent.

Waiting for us when we arrived and made us at home with expert advice. A great spot after a 1000 mile motorcycle trip over the bank holiday. Great advice and Caring. Perfect alternative to the hustle and bustle of other places to stay in Newcastle. Will visit again!!

what a find, absolutely stunning cottage in an excellent peaceful location with the resident donkeys lol...what a gem of a place and so so peaceful. Paula is a genuine host who cares passionately about her cottage and her guests, and is very genuine when dealing with her guests.. Highly highly recommended and we will defs be back....thank you Paula and keep up the good work x

we had a wonderful stay at this quirky house. Toni was there as we arrived and explained everything and was only too happy to help and suggest places to go. Steep steps at back of house leading to parking and garden. Kitchen impressive full of all mode cons and the little extras of milk, tea and some food was very thoughtfull. Everything clean and tidy and cupboards full of board games which we really enjoyed. The only downfall was a party in the club across the road not ideal with a small baby.

Our family had a fantastic 5-night stay at "The Bank" in Portaferry! The location couldn’t have been better – right in the heart of the town. What made our stay truly special was the heritage charm of the property. So many details still reflect its history as an old bank, and that unique character really added to the experience. We especially loved the cosy fireplace, which made those cold, dark winter evenings feel warm and inviting. Plus, everything in Portaferry was just a short walk away, making it super convenient to explore the area. Having a Eurospar right across the street was such a bonus too! We absolutely enjoyed our time here and would recommend "The Bank" to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

Dans la petite maison de pêcheur de Judith, c'est arrêter le temps, contempler la mère en buvant un thé. C'est l'endroit parfait pour se poser paisiblement. Le confort est idéal pour 4 personnes, le mobilier confortable. En plus la cour et le petit jardin à l'arrière sont un plus pour être tranquille pour faire un barbecue ou autre ... La chambre au grand lit est spacieuse, confortable. Tout est de plain pied. Nous sommes conquis par cet endroit magique ! Nous reviendrons...ENJOY

Perfect for our family at Easter. Lots of walks a very short distance away and not far from town centre. Lovely private, enclosed garden where our kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt! Friendly and welcoming hosts, very clean accommodation with a helpful welcome pack. The cosy, beautiful setting very much made up for the damp weather. A little hidden gem in the Mournes, would not hesitate to book again.

We were blown away with how beautiful the property is as well as the stunning and peaceful location. Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed and a lovely welcome pack - it felt like home. John and Roberta were very welcoming and ensured our stay was comfortable and were very responsive to any questions we had. Also very knowledgable about the area and its history. Taking our parents on a trip down memory lane, the property was the icing on the cake. And Mister Felix was a welcome bonus Very many thanks to you John and Roberta ☺️

A perfect stop in the heart of strangford. We loved staying at Kate’s beautiful home. The location was amazing, a walk across the road to some of the lovely restaurants and the perfect base for exploring some of the local national trust properties. We would love to return. Thank you so much

We had a fantastic stay at 28 King Street. The house is great and has an amazing view across the bay. It is in a great location for exploring Newcastle and the Mourne area and has pubs and restaurants nearby. The house has everything you could ask for and lots of space and Jacqueline was a great host. I would thoroughly recommend it.

I only had the chance to stay a few days as I was doing a course locally, but I felt at home the minute I walked through the door. The loft was so comfortable and relaxing and I had everything I could possibly need for my stay. The bathroom was spotless and the furniture was so comfortable. I will definitely be back!

What a special place, had a fantastic family trip and we all loved the apartment. It had everything we needed but it was all about the amazing views that made truly special. It was perfect to unwind and enjoy a relaxed family holiday. Dundrum is a great village with great restaurants and plenty to explore in the surrounding areas. Janet was a great host, very responsive and provided great tips in her guides. Highly recommend and we will be back

Lovely little bungalow very close to Newcastle centre and beach front and promenade. And ideal base for the beautiful Mournes and outdoor activities. Tescos is a stones throw away too.

Lovely weekend at the cottage for my birthday. The place is full of little quirks and the beautiful little windows makes it stand out from the rest. Felt very private and peaceful and everything you need is there . Just a wonderful place.

We had a great 2nd stay in Margaret's. Fantastic location & great value. Ideal for a group of 4 men on a hiking trip to the Mournes. The house was very comfortable & in the town centre, perfect for evening amenities.
