Absolutely a beautiful place to be and I would gladly stay here again. It was the perfect semi-rustic setting for us to get away to and we absolutely loved it. We did have the power flicker while we were there and Clint was immediately responding and out in the rain to get it fixed, which it quickly was. The only complaint I could possibly make was we only stayed for one night, so the fees are a bit steep, but that is not Clint's fault at all. I would love to go back!

Beautiful private hilltop location! Just a 12 min drive to the goat bluff trail and a 20 min drive to lost valley trail from the house. We enjoyed the hot tup after hiking and grilling out back. Very clean, comfortable amenities. Sheryl is fantastic- super friendly and extremely helpful! We will definitely choose this house to stay at again. You cannot beat a spring weekend at the Buffalo River.

Great location with a spectacular view! The Buffalo River and hiking to the waterfalls were top of our list of things to do. The Cliff House Restaurant is always a treat! We look forward to returning. Gerald Worley

Susan was a great host. Her communication skills were amazing when it came to a busted water line from a lightening strike. After Susan finding out the water would not be able to turned back on for a bit she immediately refunded a nights stay and gave us the option to still stay or leave early due to the storm knocking out the water supply. When she reached out to let us know she sent us a nights refund we were shocked. That was a very nice but unexpected gesture. We absolutely plan to return this summer with our 2 kids. Thank you Susan for a great weekend away to celebrate mine and my husbands 20 year anniversary!

The cabin was everything and more than we had hoped for. It was very clean, a well stocked kitchen, spacious and a great view. Our host was very accommodating and answered all our questions quickly. Would definitely recommend and book again when in the area. If you are looking for a secluded cabin in the woods, this is your place.

Absolutely in love with location and the house itself. I really really really want to buy this place! this is EVERYTHING my husband and I want in the next few years. so much better than described and truly adds more to our heaven on earth! we hope to go back in a month or so and this will definitely be the first place on our list! ponca area has been our absolute favorite place on Earth we visit multiple times a year and this place seriously made us fall even more in love ❤️ perfect location where cars cannot be heard. I seriously did not want to leave at all. The build of the home is so beautiful I literally want the plans and the only thing I would add would be a full bathroom upstairs. waking up to the view was breathtaking. we drank coffee on the front porch and back porch and both are equally relaxing. Hearing the trickle of the creek and waterfalls soothes my soul. the moment I walked in, the very first thing I noticed was the Bible verses all over. God lead us here for sure❤️

We loved the cabin. It was comfortable and cozy and so accommodating! It was perfect for relaxing with coffee on the porches in the morning and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings! There are no restaurants nearby, so the kitchen was well set up for cooking. Sage was respectful of your privacy, but available if you needed her. We appreciated all the amenities she provided.

Perfect cabin for 2 couples and 4 youth. Breathtaking views! It has one bathroom upstairs and one downstairs. Also, it’s pet friendly! The cabin was super clean, well designed & equipped with everything we needed and more! As soon as we arrived we first filled the hot tub, and then started some firewood (weather was humid, a starter log is recommended) for a very zen and relaxing experience. We roasted bratwursts in the fire pit and had ping pong, foosball, & video game tournaments with the family. You can tell the excellence with which the owners administer this property by the great quality and state of all the amenities. They gave clear instructions for the self check-in/out, for the hot tub, and contacted us mid-stay to make sure everything was ok. We stopped at Crystal Bridges Museum on the way to the cabin, which, in addition to the natural trails and stunning landscapes made this an unforgettable weekend. Gracias Tyler!

We enjoyed our time at the house. Wonderful location, everything that we needed was there. Beds were comfortable. Loved the hot tub and outdoor furniture. Wonderful view while on the back deck. Host was awesome and very easy to correspond with.

This cabin was an amazing getaway! Its location is perfect—plenty to do with the mountains and river nearby. And the cabin is also the perfect place to relax and do nothing. We enjoyed the lovely views from the hot tub and ate every meal on the porch. The beds were comfy, the bathroom had plenty of towels, and the kitchen had enough amenities to cook everything we needed. The overall retro vibe of the place made it even more cozy. Not difficult to find either and only a short time spent driving on a gravel road. The hosts include an amazingly thorough guide of the area, including dozens of restaurants, hikes, and attractions. You can tell they put a lot of love and thought into hosting. We will definitely be back if possible and have already recommended this place to friends and family :)

We LOVED our stay at the Highlands Retreat. The location was perfect. Close enough to town to go in and grab pizza one night for dinner, but far enough that you get the insanely gorgeous views of the canyon. The house itself is in perfect condition and an absolute treat to stay at. We loved the hot tub after long days of hiking. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking at home. The showers were very nice and overall, it felt like a super nice hotel experience in the middle of the wilderness. Will come back again!

We booked a couples trip (4 people) in preparation for a wedding later this year + a birthday celebration and let me say - this cabin was everything we could've asked for. We felt so pampered, the place is luxurious, and the hosts obviously put in a lot of effort to make guests feel at home. The cleanliness, thoughtfulness, comfort, and beauty of the cabin 100% made it ok that there is no microwave here. Wish we could've stayed longer. Overall, this was our favorite AirBnB stay. 10/10 would recommend! *We recommend you download directions, service is extremely spotty and WiFi at cabin is weak at times (it stormed a good portion of our stay). Also (possibly my phone issue) the house manual and directions link via Airbnb website seemed inoperable, but all is self explanatory and host is very responsive and clear.

This was a very secluded, quiet and peaceful location. It was clean and very comfortable. WiFi worked great which was important since there was no phone service for several miles. The hot tub was great. I suggest having offline maps available to navigate the area. I used my Gaia service which was extremely handy. Follow the hosts suggestions on bringing all the food and supplies for your stay since Ponca is a 45 minute drive.

We are so happy with our stay! The house is beautiful and its sorounding so peaceful. The jacuzzi is a plus and the Buffalo river is 6 miles away (15-20 min) two local stores close by. My family was very happy and we had a very good time. Plenty of room and beautiful view.

Great place to stay. 5 stars all the way around.
