Our girls loved the farm animals. Beautiful view in the morning of the lake and wonderful shade with all the oaks.

This was my husband and my second time staying at Rod’s and it was once again top notch - and this time we even brought friends! Rod is such a gracious Air BnB host, he goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome and the space is wonderful. New Ulm has so much to offer - from restaurants, hiking, the brewery. If you are short for ideas of what to do, Rod has a great pulse of the town! Highly recommended staying at Rod’s for your New Ulm getaway!

Five stars isn’t enough for this place. We loved our stay at Janelle’s house. She was so responsive to all of our messages (both prior to and during our stay) providing us with helpful information for our arrival/checkin and stay. The house is beautiful. From the moment we walked in it felt like home. It is clean, comfortable and well stocked for all of your needs. There are so many cozy spots to curl up and read, and a huge kitchen with everything you need. The location couldn’t be better, just a few minutes walk from the center of town and lots of shops, bars and restaurants and a great new brewery. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and will definitely be going back!

Melanie is absolutely the best host I could have ever asked for. She was there for me for absolutely everything. I’m a med student from Brazil who was doing a rotation there so sometimes it’s scary and lonely to be away from home. But this place made me feel right at home and Melanie treated me like her own family. The room is huge, the bed is one of the most comfortable I ever slept in, the bathroom is super nice and big, the kitchen had everything I needed, and Melanie was hospitable and helpful in anything I possibly needed. She’s a very warm, kind and loving person, and I couldn’t be more grateful for having her as my host during my last month in the States. Definitely 5 stars without any doubt. Thank you again for everything Melanie, you’re amazing and your place is lovely, cozy and warm !
