Beautiful location! Close to the center but still very peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch Mirjam, ausführliche Einweisung. Bereits im Vorfeld ausführliche Kommunikation zum Checkin und Fahrrad-Parkplatz. Das Appartement liegt in der Barlheze Straat, in der schönen Altstadt, 5 min zu Fuss vom Bahnhof. Eigener Eingang, enge S-förmige holländische Treppe in den 1. Stock. Gemütliche Wohnküche, Schlafzimmer, großes Bad mit Dusche und zwei Waschbecken. Hell, alle Räume mit Fenster, Aussicht zur Straße und zum Hof. Sehr ruhig, auf der Straße kein Durchgangsverkehr. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Unsere gemieteten OV-Fiets Räder haben wir nachts teils im Fahrrad-Parkplatz im Bahnhof (24 h, kostenlos), teils auf der Straße (Ecke Henkestraat) abgestellt.

We are so thankful for our time at The Happiest Place, we wish we could give a 6 Star Review! The unit is spacious and cozy, immaculately clean, and has tons of natural light. The kitchen is well -appointed and the bed is perfectly medium-firm. The apartment is centrally located in Utrecht, on a quiet street. Easy walking distance from the train station, grocery stores, restaurants, laundromat, and tourist attractions. Rob is an amazing host, very friendly and gracious, with a deep wealth of local knowledge. We stayed for multiple weeks and ended up extending our stay because we enjoyed it so much. Rob replaced the sheets and towels multiple times and did such a fantastic job making us feel at-home in the apartment. I can say without a doubt, there is nowhere better to stay in Utrecht.

Mariettas Haus liegt in dem schönen Städtchen Muiderberg, von wo aus wir drei Tage lang völlig unkompliziert nach Amsterdam gependelt sind. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, ist umgeben von alten Bäumen und vielen alleinstehenden Villen. Die Wohnung eingerichtet, es gab kleine Begrüßungsgeschenke wie Pralinen, Käse und Wein. Vielen Dank hierfür. Nach Besichtigungstagen in der Stadt haben wir die Abends in Muiderberg am Strand ausklingen lassen. Ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Super mooie accommodatie. Zeker de moeite! Niet zo ver van Amsterdam en makkelijk bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer!

This apartment was charming, right on a canal, making nighttime peaceful. If you're there for King's Day as we were, skip the crowds and watch party boats pass by while everyone waves and sings. Everything was as perfect as it appeared online. Lex and Sylvia are thoughtful and gracious hosts. I searched for a special gift, and Sylvia went above and beyond—she found it, texted us, and sent pictures! They provided all the essential information, plus an abundance of brochures and maps. The flat is perfect! The kitchen had everything one needed. They even stocked the fridge with essentials for breakfast and lunch. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom and outside space were excellent. The location is incredible. Thank you, Sylvia and Lex, for a wonderful weekend in Utrecht! It was one of my best vacations in a while. We can't wait to come back, Deb

Great apartment. Really well thought out. The level of detail in the guide put together was fabulous and really helpful. Excellent facilities, I’ve been to so many Airbnbs where you get one washing tab and limited hand soap. Here there was a good supply of everything. Bread, butter and cheese on arrival was a nice touch. Decent coffee machine too 😊 The beds were very very comfy! Couldn’t fault at all. I’d defo return should I ever happen to be in Utrecht. Charmantes Haus, mit viel Liebe ausgestattet, so dass man sich gleich wie zuhause fühlt. Sehr schönes Gegend, direkt am See wo alles zu Fuß oder mit Fahrrad erreichbar ist.

Het verblijf in deze woning was ontzettend fijn! Het is een heel rustig en privé plekje. Je kan buiten zitten, er zijn fietsen tot je beschikking en binnen is het knus. We konden prachtig wandelen in de buurt. Het huis was schoon, de communicatie was goed en snel en het bed ligt echt heeel lekker!! Het is ook muisstil 's nachts. Aanrader!

Wir hatte eine herrliche Auszeit vom Alltag in Rogier’s Häuschen! Rogier hat uns sehr freundlich am Bootsteg empfangen und uns “Landratten” das Handling mit dem Boot und ein paar Besonderheiten im Haus geduldig erklärt. Wir haben alles sehr sauber und aufgeräumt vorgefunden und uns direkt super wohl gefühlt. Das Ferienhäuschen ist wirklich etwas Besonderes! Rogier hat es selbst gebaut und man merkt, wie viel Liebe und Leidenschaft in diesem Projekt steckt. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt dort nur empfehlen, vor allem auch für Familien mit älteren Kindern: Sonnenstunden im Garten und auf der Terrasse, das Schwimmen im See, die Anreise mit dem Boot oder die Kanufahrten haben uns sehr viel Freude gemacht!. Über attraktive Radwege gelangt man in das Zentrum von Utrecht und auch in der Umgebung haben wir schöne Touren gemacht. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: die Straße liegt näher am Haus als gedacht und manchmal trübt Verkehrslärm die Idylle in der Natur ein wenig. Wir sind trotzdem begeistert!

Alles rundum schön dort :-) sehr zu empfehlen mit Hunden und Kindern! Alle kommen an dem schönen Ort auf ihre Kosten. Hunde können direkt links vorm Haus in den See, Kinder haben rechts einen tollen Spielplatz direkt am Wasser. Die Parkanlage ist sehr gepflegt. Wir würden wiederkommen! Kommunikation über Silke einwandfrei und sehr sympathisch! Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ca 15 Minuten mit dem Auto.

Our stay at Nicolette’s holiday cottage exceeded our expectations! Nicolette and Remco welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. We really appreciated how accessible and approachable they were, and their recommendations were very helpful! The cottage was quiet and cozy, and had everything we needed. Being along the bike trail and the river gave us so many opportunities for fun adventures! We look forward to coming back!

Wir hatten einen kurzen, sehr schönen Silvesteraufenthalt bei Gerard mit tollem Blick auf das Feuerwerk überm Wasser. Die Wohnung ist modern und schön eingerichtet und verfügt über einen großen Ess- und Wohnbereich. Insbesondere die Küche ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Gerard hat auf Rückfragen schnell und hilfreich reagiert. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!

My family enjoyed our stay. The location on a canal was fantastic. The area was central to everything we wanted to do. From looking at tulips and windmills, going to Amsterdam, or checking out World War II history. We are only about an hour away from them, regardless of the direction of travel. The owners were helpful. The internet went down for an afternoon. Thee ownser quickly responded and recommended a fix to get us reconnected. The accommodations were spotless and very homey. If I find myself in the Netherlands again, I will attempt to stay at this location.

Great idea to choose the apartment for a relaxing part of our six week trip. We were thinking of travelling to Amsterdam and or Utrecht but we were rather tired at that stage and have been to Amsterdam several times. We found Armsfoort absolutely delightful and Hans loved it for photography

Wir hatten einen einen gemütlichen und schönen Aufenthalt in Chris Wohnung. Die Kommunikation mit ihm ist gut gelaufen und insgesamt hat alles super funktioniert. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Utrecht.

A lovely well designed studio flat that feels very spacious. Lots of personal thoughtful touches make this a delightful place to stay for a short break. The location is brilliant for visiting the historic centre and despite being on a fairly busy road, it's not noisy. We came by car which is not advised as parking is a challenge - or expensive. Stairs up to the first floor flat are steep but straight so possibly a challenge for anyone with significant mobility issues. Gwen was extremely welcoming and helpful

Die Wohnung war so schön, dass ich sie gar nicht weiterempfehlen möchte 😉 Tolle Lage, ruhig, sehr stilvolle Einrichtung, alles da in Küche und Bad. Ich habe sie direkt wieder für meinen nächsten Aufenthalt gebucht.

L'appartamento di Maxime e' molto bello ed attrezzato, in linea con le foto e molto confortevole. Maxime e' stata molto disponibile e ci ha dato molte informazioni su come raggiungere Amsterdam e quali giri fare. La casa e' in posizione molto bella, splendita sicuramente nel periodo estivo. Noi siamo stati nel periodo di Capodanno ed e' stata perfetta come punto di appoggio per poi visitare Amsterdam.l, raggiungibile comodamente in auto in meno di 30 minuti. Molto, molto consigliata.

Es war alles perfekt- die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit und konnten von Vianen aus viel unternehmen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Vielen lieben Dank für alles. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had such a lovely stay at Annemiek’s place! Even though we arrived quite late at 10pm, she welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel right at home. She had thoughtfully prepared some fruits, sweets, and snacks for us—which was such a kind and heartwarming gesture after a long day of travel. 🥰 Annemiek was always available for any questions we had and responded quickly with helpful tips and information. Her home is absolutely beautiful, nestled right by the canal, and the peaceful setting in Weesp made our stay extra special. It’s a charming little town, perfect for a relaxing visit outside the hustle of Amsterdam. She even generously offered us 2 bicycles to explore the area, which we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to use—but we hope to return someday and take them for a ride! Thank you so much, Annemiek, for being such an exceptional host! We’re grateful for the experience!
