This is a worthwhile stopover if you want a touch of the outback. It is comfortable and affordable and Phil your host is very hospitable. Having brekky provided was an unexpected bonus. It's worth the trip out of town.

I personally feel like the photos didn’t quite do the place justice. From the finishings to the comfort. Duane and Bel were extremely attentive too. It’s the small things that made this feel so cosy. The PowerPoints back plates are cut out beautifully with the corrugated walls. The personalised engraved cabinets and the spacious area. Was extremely nice and quiet, away from the riff raff. Right around the corner from the Katherine outback experience. The whole home was stunning!

Perfect location for our personal needs. Beautiful accommodation. Very comfortable beds. Exceptionally clean, just how I like it. Lovely linen. Kitchen and bathroom very well stocked. Excellent

We can't thank Doris enough for providing a gorgeous little oasis, away from the hustle and bustle. Incredibly responsive, helpful and so friendly. our stay was everything we hoped for, peaceful and quiet surrounded by her beautiful property. The kids loved seeing the animals as we came and went, was the perfect location to access the local attractions, and having a full functioning Kitchen made it even better to have a night in with the family without having to eat out. We loved everything about our stay and will be promoting to all our family and friends if travelling through Mataranka.

The apartment is privately located above the hotel office and is so quiet. It was spotless and the bedding was freshly laundered. Parking for our car was secure within the hotel compound and we were provided with a fob to come/go as needed. Our family of 5 (2A, 5yo, 3yo and 1yo) were very happy and had a wonderful stay here.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here on a weekend away to explore Nitmiluk National Park. It’s only 5mins down the road from the park, clean, comfortable, peaceful and offered incredible views. The place had everything you needed as well as a swimming spot or two and Netflix to end an exhausting day of hiking! Wayne the host was such a friendly and helpful legend. He made sure we had everything we needed and suggested good things in the area to explore. We won’t forget his dog Blue who came for pats and visits throughout our stay, making missing our dog at home abit more bearable. The scenery and sunsets were unreal, we will definetly be back!!

Great accommodation. Easy check-in. Comfortable queen-sized beds - one softer, one firmer. Reliable wifi. Lots of supplies and plenty of additional extras such as mozzie coils, toothbrushes, Covid testing kits, backyard cricket set. Quiet. We slept very well. Thanks Tommy!

Perfect spot to go check out the Gorge! Had everything we needed and Carolyn was really nice and helpful.
