Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Cabin/Tiny Home. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

The Peacock Cottage features wood ceilings & walls, tile floors, kitchenette & a nice sized shower. A large picture window lets the natural light in w/ a view of a pasture w/ alpaca, sheep, & a Scotland Highland cow! Enjoy a 2nd pasture w/ 4 friendly goats; as well as 12 egg laying hens and an organic garden (seasonal) & 2 small creeks. With the serenity of being in the country, this property sits only 2 minutes off the interstate and is as close as 15 minutes from the heart of Asheville.

Chestnut Ridge Retreat

Guest love the peace and the views here at our retreat. Enjoy a morning or evening in the hot tub, sun on the pool deck and swim in warm weather. Relax by the fireplace or fire pit (roast some s’mores). Walk the property to see the chickens, horse and donkey. At our farm we love diversity, support all love, and don’t think that hate makes America great - if you don’t agree we may not be the destination for you. We have added a small chair that converts to a bed- we can squeeze 3 in.

Relax outside in the hot tub for some stargazing, or read a good book on the porch and enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee or glass of wine. Spring mountain house is a modern micro cabin perched above the creek in a lush mountain forest. Scandinavian inspired, this cabin was designed and built by the hosts using site-harvested lumber and custom hand-crafted wood and metalwork features. The cabin lays on a south-facing mountain covered in rhododendron forest with the view and sounds of the creek below.
