We had a great stay. The apartment is beautiful, immaculately clean and so well located for Cullercoats seaside and Whitley Bay attractions. The decor is beautiful and has been done to a very high specification- it is even nicer than the photos. We would recommend Riley’s Fish Shack (or course), Jam Jar cinema in Whitley Bay attractions- a wonderful independent cinema with a lovely lounge bar, ferry from North to South Shields and the Cullercoats Coffee cafe around the corner. We stayed 3 nights in Karens apartment. The apartment is nice (perfect for 2 couples). The location is very nice, close to the beach, an easy walk into Sunderland centre, easy access from the Metro and a bus stop close by. Many pubs and restaurants in the area. We would like to comeback back to this apartment.

Absolutely lovely little find. We visit amble regularly and we found that this place was great because of how close it was to everything. You can see the beach from the door and it’s not far from all of the shops and restaurants. There’s even a little shop opposite which came in handy. The house was very tidy and had such a cosy feel to it. Great value for money! Barry was great and very quick at responding to any messages. Thank you for a lovely stay! 😊

a truly beautiful apartment, immaculately clean, there can't be a better location right on the front facing the sea with amazing views, parking was easy at the side with the free permit included. super host, friendly and responsive, clear and easy access information. really spacious homely apartment with a nice well equipped dining kitchen, and a stunning lounge with bay window and the view! . the main bedroom also had a sea view. Tynemouth Front St is just a few mins away. Best air bnb weve stayed in Tynemouth. definitely recommended!..

Stayed for three nights at Rosemary's place and would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to others. Excellent communication, lovely house and a perfect location. My son slept well in the pull out bed and he really enjoyed playing with the table football. Thank you!

A four day family break was enjoyed staying at The drift house in Amble. Our days were so easily filled with wildlife (we saw dolphins, seals, puffins and many other birds), beautiful beaches, Alnwick and Bambrugh castles. We ate out at la Famiglia twice and at the sea food shack in Amble and a pub in seahouses- all tasty and friendly. We returned ‘home’ to the Drift House’s clean, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. So central to access beaches and restaurants and close to shops but felt quiet and private too. Thank you Ian and Lauren! Carol and the Duffy family.

We had a fabulous stay at Amblers Watch. Immaculate accommodation in a very central but quiet location. Great communication. Kitchen so well equipped and it felt like home. Hot tub was a fantastic addition. We will be back

I was comfortable and felt safe in Ellen's house. Easy street parking. No outside noise nice and peaceful. Everything you need in an Airbnb. Excellent communication from Ellen she couldn't do enough. I'd book again for sure.

Grace's property was perfect for four friends meeting up. Oriel House is in an excellent location and the rooms were very spacious and clean throughout. Free parking was available out side the accommodation. Grace was very helpful with local recommendations and was very quick to respond to questions. I would highly recommend.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Marine Cottage, where we were staying to celebrate a family birthday. The communication from Lynda was fabulous prior to our arrival and we were able to locate and get into the house no problem. The house itself was immaculate, and had every required amenity that I could have imagined. The house is a lovely little quirky cottage and was lovely and cosy on a cool spring evening. Our 3 year old son loved spending time outside in the secure courtyard, and I was reassured that he was safe and secure and could not escape at all! Amble itself is a lovely little Northumbrian village and we thoroughly enjoyed walking around, and cheeky ice-cream or two! There was a fab market on the Sunday, the biggest that I have seen for a long time. We also enjoyed visiting Alnwick, Holy Island, and even made a little stop at the Metro Centre on the way home, which isn't far away at all. We would 100% recommend Amble and Marine Cottage to everyone. Thanks!

Beautifully furnished apartment. Spacious rooms and great view of the bay from the lounge and bedroom. Well-equipped kitchen.

Fantastic location for a weekend with a 16month old. Spacious bedroom, good quality cot, comfortable living room, well equipped kitchen. Short walk through a nice park with a kids playground and small boating lake, to get to the large sandy beach and the start of a coastal walk. We had no car and manged this trip from London, getting a nice coastal bus to and from Sunderland to the place and a bus back from our coastal walk.

The apartment is on a quiet street, just a couple of minutes walk away from the seafront and situated between Cullercoats and Tynemouth village which are both within easy walking distance. Lisa and Gavin were excellent hosts, providing lots of clear information and tips, and always very responsive. Check-in was easy. The flat looks just like the pictures and is well-equipped. We had a lovely weekend in Tynemouth, would definitely recommend!

A wonderful quiet stay in a delightful flat on the second floor with wide stairs. Comfortable with everything provided with tasteful decor. Easy to find the keys with excellent access when parking the car. View was lovely and a great location for the beach and local amenities. Would definitely visit again. Thank you Robert

Fabulous apartment with beautiful sea views. Fantastic communication with our very welcoming host. We arrived to lots of special touches which helped us to feel at home from the start! Very comfortable accommodation. Private parking was a bonus. Would definitely book again!
