This is my 2nd stay here and is always the first place I look into when I visit Somerville or Cambridge. Super close to restaurants, the red line and star market grocery. I definately plan to stay here on future trips to the area.

Delia was amazing! We needed a place to stay with 3 dogs while our house in NH sold and We could close on new house. She was so good to us! Has a beautiful property, We enjoyed the fenced in yard & hot tub

Wendy and Doug’s upstairs suite of rooms is roomy, very comfortable, quiet and super convenient to downtown Salem without being right in the middle of the crowds. We walked to downtown easily. Wendy was so helpful especially when we had a last mins dress alterations project, offering up her sewing machine so the work was done in time for the evening’s event. Overall a lovely stay.

The place was bigger than what I thought it would be. Lots of space in the living/dining area. There is a steep set of stairs to get up into the place so could be a consideration for some. Lovely little house.

Woody was an excellent host! Very communicative from the start - no surprises! He prepared a comprehensive info package about the property and surrounding area as well as personal recommendations. While the property was an addition to their home, it was quiet and private. The unit was very comfortable, well-appointed and spotless. The vaulted ceilings with skylights and numerous lg windows (w/blinds) allowed for lots of natural light during the day but privacy at night. Off-street parking and close proximity to public transportation was a huge plus! The neighborhood was extremely vibrant and diverse. There were always teens, couples and families walking about. The "main" street had fun quirky shops and a plethora of dining options (Seafood, Mexican, Thai-Vietnamese, American bistro, pizza, tavern/pub, 2 bakeries and and an AWESOME ice cream shop/breakfast cafe) at all price points. While we were there primarily to see Boston, Jamaica Plain turned out to be the real jewel!

Lucy's place was just what we were looking for. It was quiet and set in amongst rock gardens with lots of birdsong. It was super clean and the bed was super comfy. It had everything we needed. It is small but well equipped. Lucy and Cat were extremely responsive to any questions or concerns. They gave us fantastic recommendations of places to hike and local beaches, museums and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

The cutest beach house and such a relaxing, perfect location right on the beach. Loved waking up for sunrises and morning coffee on the deck. Every essential was provided and communication was easy/ efficient. It was my first time staying in Humarock and I will definitely be back!

This is by far the best Airbnb we have ever experienced. The place is beautiful and super comfortable. The hosts were friendly, hospitable and responsive. Every day they provided fresh baked muffins and fresh fruit. They provided a helpful guide to local restaurants. We were able to walk most places easily as the location was very central. I cannot say enough good things about Jim and Donny and their lovely home. If you are going to Melrose or the surrounding area you must stay here!

We had a wonderful time at this adorable cottage. It was great to be able to bring our dogs on vacation with us.

We adored the Heron's Nest! The pictures cannot capture the charm of this place. It was the perfect size for the two of us and offered everything we needed. All spaces and amenities were not only clean and comfortable, but well thought out. It seemed that every detail for guests' comfort is considered. Mary Ellen and Walter were extremely communicative and welcoming. We loved the backyard view and we would definitely stay at the Heron's Nest again!

This was a great stay for my family vacation. This 3 bedroom home was perfect for a larger family stay right in the middle of Malden, MA. The area was quiet during the evening and there were many restaurants within walking distance of the home. Only a few complaints: Upon entering the foyer there was an overwhelming smell of fish that had been attempted to be covered by lots of air freshener spray. Once you entered the home the smell went away so it caused no issue to the stay. Our most major complaint was the parking. The host was so gracious in allowing us to have our own parking space in the back of the home marked accordingly, however, if you are not good at backing in you may have some issues. The street is lined on both sides with many cars and it is very narrow to begin with. There are some very steep stairs to get into the home and to reach the 3rd floor so be careful if elderly are staying with you. Overall this was a fantastic stay and we would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend. The space is very easy to keep clean and everything I needed or wanted was already there. Easy walk to the harbor and a Main Street full of restaurants and shops. Thank you Zarla!

Wonderful host, comfortable bedding and cozy quaint house! It snowed and George even plowed the sidewalk, steps and driveway for us. Will definitely be back when we come to visit our son and his family!

James and Nancy were excellent hosts! We came to Boston for marathon weekend and they were extremely flexible with check-in and our use of the parking spot. They are extremely thoughtful and the guest house was extremely clean. This place is also within walking distance to public transit to the city which was super convenient!!

Such a lovely home! Everything in the house was pristine with so many thoughtful touches. Great location- quick drive to Portsmouth and Rye. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This Maynard stay is incredible, definitely one of the best Air BnB stays I have had. The host had thought of everything that one could possibly need. Stocked with all types of device chargers, breakfast and snack items that were great, hygiene products, nice adult beverages and more. We loved the awesome wood burning stove, and it made our stay so peaceful. The host was clear and concise when it came to check-in / check-out. The one bathroom could be tough, but its very doable. Awesome, clean, and friendly homey place! It was confusing when it came to what was compostable to those who aren’t used to it, but we made do!

We stayed at Pleasant HomesZ in the middle of an incredibly cold week in Massachusetts, but the apartment was always cosy and warm. With thermostats in almost every room, we could adjust the temperature to exactly what we wanted. The location was also perfect for our needs. One thing to note is that the dining room table and chairs are bar height - not super tall, but a bit higher than your average dining room set.

The well named enchanted cottage was fabulous. We had a lovely stay, lucky with the weather. Easy reach of Boston on the train. Whole foods just down the road - I cooked in most evenings- as the kitchen had everything we needed. We sat out on the deck chairs and contemplated the Universe over a bottle of wine, watching the birds, squirrels and fall colours. We did a couple of day trips- Concord (loved the antique shops), the Nashoba Winery (get some of the Northern Comfort Apple, Cranberry and Maple Brandy…. Wish I’d bought two, it goes great with Mince Pies). We did the Union Oyster Bar in Boston and Legal Seafood (the oysters were amazing). I would highly recommend The Enchanted Cottage (very comfy beds).

Had a wedding to attend and Brunas apartment was nearby. It was in a lovely neighborhood, kept impeccably clean and offered the privacy needed. On my way back to Maine I went to see the Scituate Lighthouse...close to Boston as well...

It is hard to explain how grateful we are and how pleasant was our stay at Mia's place. Regarding the place, it's a safe and quiet place, but at the same time close to facilities such as parks, playgrounds, churches, markets, groceries etc. For the foreigns it is an opportunity to taste the american life from the movies. I have no doubts that If there is a new opportunity I come back again with my treasures/ family. Considering all options on Boston area Clearly Mia's place excels in many attributes and we recommend for all profiles: couples, small and big families, group of friends, elderly and young.
