Exceeded all of my expectations. I'd give 6 stars if I could. Location - Easy to find. Remote and quiet, but not far from amenities in Delphi. Getting to a cabin can sometimes be an adventure, but this one was easy to find and all roads were paved right up to the driveway. The cabin - Super clean and everything that we needed was available. Streaming services provided, an Alexa device for music, billiards, ping pong, a fire ring with wood provided, covered outdoor sitting spaces (it rained a lot during our visit), a grill, and every single kitchen implement that we needed during our stay all added up to a relaxing visit. The pictures make it look great, but they almost don't do it justice. Very nice place. The host - Mary Ann was very proactive. She anticipated most of our needs and provided everything we needed for our stay. Very responsive when we reached out prior to the trip with questions. The little gift box of local treats was the cherry on top.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was as clean and cozy as the pictures show. There is a great bakery within walking distance and nice restaurants nearby. Even though it wasn’t quite time for the lake we had a great time. Thank you!

Very relaxing cabin and quiet/quaint neighborhood. Even though you are in a neighborhood, you have privacy. We enjoyed the views and nature sounds. The private beaches are beautiful. Great place to relax. Cabin was cozy. The bed and bedding were sooooo comfy.

We had a great stay at Julia's place. It was exactly what was described and shown in the pictures. Beautiful and very quiet neighborhood. The home was older but you could only tell because of the original floors which had the charming creaks of original wood floors. Everything else has been upgraded and in great shape. Would be a great place anytime of year. Pool was closed obviously but the hot tub was perfect and the steam shower was nice. Only suggestion is that if you are arriving late definitely take a flashlight...it is very dark after the sun goes down. It was exactly what we needed. Julia was great with communication and available for anything we needed! Already have had discussions about coming back in the summer!

Secluded and quiet cabin. Lots of space around the kitchen, amazing deck, and tons of sleeping options.

Cozy, well-appointed home in lovely surroundings. I stayed with my daughter and a couple of her friends. It was their prom weekend and they loved having the space to hang out and a quiet place to return to after local parties. We walked to the beach and watched the sunset. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time at the Little Copper Cabin. We really enjoy the fireplace and large windows looking out to the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen has everything you need making it perfect to make meals during our stay. We like to bring our dogs with us so the trails in the area are very much appreciated by all - as well as the hosts being so pet friendly. Great hosts and a really special little place. We can’t wait to come back.

Cute log cabin, a bit rustic, but it added to the charm. Portia was very responsive to questions & helpful.

wow! this place is dog and people paradise. the yard is beautiful and spacious for our dogs to run - they stay close and it look amazing with the snow. love her style and felt very cozy and at home! Had what we needed and gave helpful suggestions and tips. thank you and would love to stay again!

Jesse's cabin was very quiet and peaceful. Everything is exactly like the pictures, the kitchen is well stocked, also the bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable, the windows have blackout curtains which allowed us to sleep in late every day... The working station and WiFi were also great. Beautiful surroundings and a short drive to local stores and services. A full disclosure: there's a train line somewhere nearby in the area but we practically couldn't hear it from inside the cabin. Never bothered us and it didn't wake anybody up. We just noticed it when walking outside and one train happened to pass by during the day. Overall a great experience, the cabin is very relaxing and perfect for a relaxing getaway, and Jesse is very responsive and attentive. We are planning to come back when time permits.

Cozy cabin on the river. The kids fished. Room for the dogs to play outside. Nice fire pit with fire wood available. Only a couple minute drive to town. We very much enjoyed it!

We were very thankful for a quiet and clean place to lay our heads during our trip. It met our needs.

This is a very cozy cabin by a beautiful lake, featuring panoramic windows and lots of interesting interior details. The location is very convenient yet secluded from other houses. The only thing I didn’t realize when booking is that there are no doors. Just something to keep in mind when making your reservation. Thank you, Ryan!

Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely home on Easter weekend! We loved the place and felt like home. Lots of light and the home structure and decor is very special and cozy. Callie was very welcoming and responsive. We were very close to wineries at Baroda county and St. Joseph. We look forward to come back soon!

The cottage was clean, easy to locate and access, and had more than we needed to make our stay great. This was our first vacation with our 2.5 year old and she slept wonderfully, both napping and at night, bc it is so quiet and one of the bedrooms is equipped with blackout shades, a huge plus to any parent with little ones! The beach chairs and umbrella provided were fantastic, we used them everyday. The private beach is lovely, but does have steep stairs if you’re carrying all your gear plus kid(s). We ended up going to a different beach everyday to try them all out, we loved them all for different reasons! Tammie gave us great food recommendations and we never had a bad meal! We had a great stay and would return to the Yellow Door Cottage again!

modern cabin update in a private, serene setting makes for a relaxing escape. Lucas is a great host who's done a wonderful job of transforming the property into a place where you can really get away from it all while still being conveniently situated for visiting Middlebury, Shipshewana, Goshen, Elkhart, and other points of interest (check out Bonneyville Mills nearby). loved the fireplace and comfy king bed. as stated there's no wi-fi and cell service was a bit spotty, but you'll likely enjoy the experience without having to contend with the distractions. highly recommended overall and would definitely look to stay here when in the area again.

Holley's place fit the description and photos exactly as presented. We were looking for a place that was relatively close to Notre Dame, and that allowed us to bring our dog. This place fit the bill. It was easy to find, clean, and as I said, fit the description and photos exactly. It was also a nice area to walk our dog. We were here in December and so we could not take advantage of the lake, but if you are here in summer, it's just a stone's throw away, and I imagine very nice. When you think about how much hotels in South Bend and even Elkhart charge on game days this was a no brainer. The price was solid and it was a relatively fast and easy drive from ND. I would definitely stay here again on another game weekend. Thank you Holley!

This was a lovely stay, we were only there for a short time but wish we could've stayed longer! Randi is very friendly and gave us detailed but flexible check in information, along with some local recommendations for food and activities. The neighborhood was secluded and quiet, and the proximity to beautiful parks is amazing! The rooms were clean and well stocked, we even noticed sharpened knives in the kitchen, which can be somewhat rare in rentals! Randi is a great host with admirable attention to detail.

We stayed at The Plant House, which is in the middle of everything on the property, but private enough. We enjoyed the beautiful private lake on the property and the wooded area to walk around. We swam there with our daughter several times, and paddled around, and the property itself has a lot of things to do like basketball, volleyball, and tennis. The horses are friendly if you bring them an apple. It's only 25 minutes away from most things so we took adventures to see local shops, get ice cream, and visit Lake Michgan.

A great place to stay! One of the most accommodating places I’ve stayed with actually useful tools in the kitchen! We felt right at home.
