We were in area for son’s graduation from University of Michigan Pharmacy School. We are from California. The home was perfect for our stay. It felt like home. Clean, organized and had all that you needed to cook for the family including BBQ on patio which I used to cook carne asada. I truly enjoyed the views of the lake from inside the home, and even better was sitting outside on patio sipping coffee and listening to the birds and looking out on the tranquil lake. Neighbors waved as they enjoyed the lake on their boat. My son and sister enjoyed kayaking on the lake (kayaks provided). Truly a beautiful place to celebrate a special occasion or just plan a get away from city life. Thank you, Catherine for a memorable stay.

When I think of the perfect getaway this is the place. Well taken care of. Much bigger than it looks. The decor and furnishings were amazing. The couch is insanely comfy. The views are some of the best on Lake Orion. This is the best of LO and a slice of heaven I am glad they are willing to share. Jamie went above and beyond and made our son’s birthday extra special. Having been around LO for years this is a gem that shouldn’t be passed up.

This place is phenomenal! The house is beautifully decorated, super cozy and has an amazing view of the lake. Everything was clean and comfortable for our stay. Kitchen is well appointed, beds were comfortable, and the house was a comfortable 70 degrees during our December stay. Will definitely keep this place on my list for next time we are visiting Lake Orion!!

We stayed during the time between winter & spring, where weather is hit-or-miss, but we were still able to enjoy the huge patio and the lake-front yard 2 of the 4 nights! The kids found some fun lawn toys to keep entertained. House faces West over the lake—sunsets were amazing! We found the neighborhood perfect for walking around and the kids loved the bridge over the “river” (drainage ditch?) with lots of ducks, a public playground, and a small beach (private for the residents). All within a 2-5 minute walk. The owner also has the property next door so it was nice to run into him and ask for dinner recommendations (great Italian spot 5min walk). And lastly, we were pleased to see some new/updated furniture—the listing photos might not be up-to-date, so it may be better than you expected!

The stay was great! Rachel is a great host, who is very helpful, and super proactive! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a trip to Lake Orion.

Great place! We've stayed here multiple times and everytime it's been great. The hosts are easy to work with and the place is always in great condition. I would highly recommend this house! The lake is absolutely beautiful!

Perfect getaway to slow down even if just for a day. Peter set us up to use the kayaks and we were the only ones on the lake. So beautiful. The house was one of the nicest on the lake. Saw ducks, swan, and many turtles. Played pool after a steak dinner at Arts & Jakes ( downtown restaurants close a little early weekday nights). Had yummy coffee before we had to leave. Our only regret was not getting take out to eat there instead of eating out. The kitchenette, bar was decorated spectacular! Thank you for a great stay.

This was definitely home away from home! The area was very peaceful with beautiful views, we had everything we needed and is perfect if you have children! Plenty to keep the kiddos busy and having fun while you enjoy your time too. It was hard to leave! 10/10 recommend staying here with family!

Our second visit to this location was just as positive as the first. The house was spotless, with plenty of handy storage for unpacking to keep it clean during our stay. We love the layout, with plenty of space between bedrooms for added peace and quiet. We were lucky to have good weather during our stay, so the sunsets on the lake were cinematic and perfect. Craig was friendly and responsive. We will be back next year!
