Welcome to Wagtail Air BNB! Our little Wagtail Nest offers a private, relaxing and romantic experience. Enjoy a bubble bath overlooking the countryside, sip a coffee on the deck or sit by the fire pit under the stars. We are located fifteen minutes from the ninety-mile beach (Seaspray) and ten minutes from the township of Sale where there are pubs, restaurants and ample shopping. Self-served continental/ self cooked breakfast is included in your stay. Wedding night packages are also available

The Rainbow Cottage at Abington Farm

Abington Farm Bed & Breakfast is situated on a 36-acre property, in the middle of a dairy farm. It provides an incredible view of country living in a very modern setting. The Rainbow Cottage is a self-contained private unit that includes a queen bed, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom complete with a spa bath. The Rainbow Cottage overlooks the Rainbow Creek and the Great Dividing Range: a perfect backdrop to watch the sunset after a great day of exploring the local Gippsland region.

Swan Cove Beachfront

Please note the vehicular ferry is out for maintenance from Nov 10 til Dec 7. During this time we can collect you from the passenger ferry. Wide open spaces, fresh sea air and no crowds. Transport yourself to a 2- storey Hansel and Gretel style cottage in a forest by the water on an island where you can see koalas and wildlife up close in their natural environment. Only 4 hours from Melbourne. We are very sorry pets are not permitted here due to the sensitive nature of the wildlife.

Down to Earth Farm Retreat - Lakeview

Set on a private and peaceful 130 acre property just 10 minutes from the town of Bairnsdale, Lakeview has been built partially underground. The roof is a garden. Lakeview is light and airy and naturally well insulated. The floor to ceiling windows allow guests to view the natural environment and enjoy the night sky. Lakeview provides an opportunity to experience unique, eco-friendly earth-sheltered living and guests may walk on the property to see farm animals and native wildlife.

The Wool House - 2023 New Build

Over looking Picnic Arm and Lake Victoria resides a tranquil retreat inviting you to relax and focus on self care. The Wool House is a luxury studio for two adults on a working sheep farm in East Gippsland, the home of 'Forge Creek Lamb!' The studio boasts a spacious living area, a kitchen for the discerning chef, a large ensuite with floor heat & walk through shower, king bed with wool bedding, covered carport, jetty access & berth for your boat and stunning water and farm views.

Quiet self-contained unit with abundant bird life

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

Off-Grid Retreat

Off-grid retreat … Dargo Viewz is a “hut” with a difference. The studio-style getaway is totally off-grid and set in a very peaceful, secluded area outside Dargo. Enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the Dargo valley. Winter mornings are special here – watch the fog clouds roll over the hills and meander through the valley. Please be aware that from June to December the Dargo High Plains Road is closed. This means you can't drive from Mt Hotham to Dargo on that road.
