We stayed for a month and loved JJs place. The apartment is well located to serve as a base to explore all of ireland from. Every location we wanted to visit was easily within driving distance. The apartment itself is lovely. It had all the amenities we needed and was great for cooking. The nearby town of Roscrea is also fantastic with several supermarkets available. We also enjoyed walks in the area and visiting beautiful local parks. JJ himself was extremely kind and always ready to share some advice and recommendations. We would highly recommend this place for both short and long stays!

We stayed at the Lodge while visiting family nearby. Anthony was a fantastic host. We had bread, butter and Jan on arrival and he stopped us a day into our stay and surprised us with a local bottle of apple juice which was delicious. There were 4 generations of us staying. The youngest was 3 and the oldest 96. Everybody had a fantastic time. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Marie's house is so lovely and the location is absolutely gorgeous. Marie was so responsive before our arrival and popped over to greet us once we had settled in. The house was spotless we couldn't fault it, the stove was a lovely addition in the kitchen and there was plenty of fuel left for us. We stayed over New Years and the house was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. The two pet goats outside were the highlight for our children who loved feeding and petting them.

Margaret was an excellent host and very helpful, who went above and beyond to make the team feel welcome with some thoughtful personal touches. The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Location was very close to our team's site. Would definitely recommend.

We spent a lovely easter weekend in Mai's peaceful and quiet cottage. It had everything we needed, very comfortable beds and nice linen, plenty of hot water, and good wifi. We were delighted with the field of cows beside us! It's in a great location for walking Slieve Bloom. Mai was a great host. We would have loved to stay for longer, and hope to go back again soon.

This was the first time me and my family has went out of the country together. All of us felt right at home walking into the house. Everyone enjoyed the space in the house and being located almost in the middle of Ireland made it convenient to travel to most sites we wanted to visit. Sandra was the most gracious host. She had extra touches in the house for my family which made it special to our visit. She was easy to get in touch with and this made our over all experience great. Next time I visit, I will definitely stay here!

If you have a chance to stay with Frances you are so lucky. One of the nicest hosts I’ve met through AirBnB. The house was perfect and spotless. Homemade baked goodies were to die for on arrival. The fire was lighting, the heat was on and the house was so cosy and warm. Beautiful and quiet location in the countryside. We booked Prosecco Painting and it did not disappoint. The snacks and Prosecco was flowing and the 4 of us now see ourselves as budding artists. The hot tub in the evening to relax topped it all off. All the locals we met on a walk were so friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfy. A home away from home. We will definitely cross paths with Frances again. She is just amazing!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay there. Muirt was extremely helpful and replied to any query we had quickly. Would highly recommend. As the apartment overlooked the park and has a balcony it would be lovely in the spring/summer months.

Joseph’s self contained apartment is just brilliant. It’s super clean, everything works perfectly, great amenities, bed is really comfortable. We had a great stay and Joseph is lovely. Thanks very much!

Mary is a charming and friendly host. She is responsive and happy to help. The property is ideal for a couple: just off the M7, centrally located and just as described in the listing. Well furnished, very clean and comfortable.

We had a lovely few days visiting family. The accommodation met our needs and Moira provided lots of links to places to eat and taxis in the area. We were greeted with a welcome pack too!

Meine Frau und ich haben uns gleich wohlgefühlt. Alles war wie beschrieben und sehr gemütlich eingerichtete. Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr ruhig, da es ein bisschen abseits der Hauptstraße liegt. Declan und Bernie sind tolle Gastgeber und waren immer gut erreichbar wenn es Probleme gab. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung für kurz und langfristige Aufenthalte

Un grand logement clair et agréable : de la place pour notre fils, une literie très confortable, un gîte à la ferme très bien chauffé. Avoir pu assister à la traite des vaches et visiter la ferme a été un plus. Pratique et propre, sans fioriture : un logement exactement comme il nous fallait, pour faire une pause de 2 jours, à la campagne, durant notre road trip irlandais de 2 semaines.

The room (or rather the apartment!) was very clean, in the style of the house which gives it all its charm. Very well signposted, the house is in the middle of nature... nothing better to enjoy Ireland! I highly recommend it!

Eileen’s place was a perfect home away from home for my family, very comfortable beds. Eileen supplied milk sugar tea/coffee & even some treats in the cupboard which was a lovely touch.

Lovely apartment to rest and relax. It is located on the edge of town but only a few mins drive away. The apartment is surrounded by green fields, woodland and nature. The terrace is a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The apartment is well equipped and homely. Tom and his wife are friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect place for what I needed!

Spacious room, right in the heart of town, but quiet and very comfortable. Well equipped kitchenette- even had an oven! Small grocery store across the street, fun pub right next door, other pubs & a pharmacy in close, walking distance. The Grand Canal was right at the entrance to the rental and has a beautiful paved path along it. Daingean is a lovely small town that sits been to larger ones that are each an easy 20 minute drive. We had a car, so really enjoyed exploring the midlands.

A wonderful stay. Gladys is a very warm & friendly host. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and I couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended, and I hope to be back soon. Thank you Gladys.
