Farmhouse Retreat- Skiing/ long stays/ short stays

This suite is part of the new guesthouse portion of our home. Our charming home was originally built in 1936 (by a wonderful couple I was blessed to know) but has since undergone many additions and remodels. We are in love with it and the gorgeous mountains surrounding us. With hiking/mountain biking trailheads < 1 mile away, reservoirs, rivers, and ski resorts close by, there's plenty to get out and do, or just enjoy our farmhouse retreat on over an acre of grass, fruit trees, and gardens.

Our studio apartment offers a unique space with a private entrance within a five to twenty minute drive of various outdoor activities. Additionally, just down the street you'll find the charming historic railroad downtown Ogden area with local restaurants, shops and museums. Explore junction city, adventure in the mountains and then come home to a comfortable studio suite to enjoy a bit of down time cooking, reading and relaxing.

It's all less than 30 minutes from your door. You are less than 7 minutes to Downtown Ogden’s historic 25th Street. And cooking is easy with Smith's Grocery Store less than 2 minutes away. The backyard connects to trails that will take you to the Ogden River. Owner lives on site in a basement apartment.

Come stay in our cozy basement unit! We re did the bedrooms in July 2025! We are just up the road from Historic Downtown Ogden, only 5 min from iFly Utah, 5 min from Weber State University, 15 min from Hill Air Force Base and the Northrop facilities. Close to many hiking and biking trails, as well as lakes and reservoirs. If you love skiing as much as we do you can get to 12 ski resorts in under 1.5 hours with the closest being only 30 min away. Once notoriously known for brothels, opium dens, gambling and boot legging; today the street is a mecca for art collectors, foodies, nightlife and entertainment. World class skiing along with many summer outdoor activities are located within 10-30 mins. Shuttle access to the ski resorts is within walking distance. Just two blocks from the FrontRunner Station that connects to Salt Lake and the SLC Airport.

Only 45 minutes to SLC Airport, 25 minutes to Snowbasin, and 30 minutes to Powder Mountain. You get full access to the main floor which features two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one queen sleeper sofa in family room, full gourmet kitchen, laundry room, back balcony, driveway, and all main floor areas.

(Note: we start early in the bakery-but provide ear plugs & a fan to minimize any traveling noise). Access to plenty of fun in Ogden right off I-15 & near many outdoor activities. Enjoy our spacious & awesome apartment. And don't forget to pop in to the bakery for fresh baked goods and sandwiches 😉
