The Tiny (off grid) House on Wai Māhanga Farm

Your Air Conditioned accoms are a small Off Grid Tiny Home. It is situated in Taumārere just out of Kawakawa on SH11 on the way to Paihia on our working Regenerative Farm. Specifically built for couples to enjoy the privacy and beautiful farm views over green paddocks to the Cycleway and Vintage Railway. Our tiny house is intimate, open plan, with a small kitchen incl a double gas stovetop and a wee fridge/freezer. Check out our waterhole, walk with the cows, relax and enjoy! Paihia 17min drive

Whananaki Barn - Cottage 2

Whananaki Barn is on 15 acres of lifestyle block overlooking the sea. It is totally OFF GRID so if you love peace and tranquillity this is the place for you! It has great views of both the native bush and the beach. You’ll love my place because of the beauty, the outdoor space, the sunrise and sunsets and it is off-grid!. We are a few minutes from the Tutukaka Marina and the outstanding Surf at Sandy Bay. Our two bedroom self contained unit is located down a private road and offers a quiet retreat for a weekend away or a great base to explore the beautiful beaches, dive the Knights or visit the nearby vineyard, golf course and Marina . Basic continental breakfast is available for guests.

This is a small cabin suitable for short stays, the bedroom is small but it is compensated by the location, deck, bathroom & beach which are great. Sit on kayaks & stand-up paddle are available free of charge. Tidy comfortable cabin just meters from a lovely private beach & walking distance to cafes, fishing club & pizzeria. No road noise, safe swimming, kayaking or trips to the Poor Knights Islands. BASIC cooking only; BBQ, Fridge, plates, cups, glasses, etc. Great eateries near by.

Sandy Bay Farmstay

***LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION *** At our farm we have a very clean, tidy & comfortable self contained cabin for couples with a rustic vibe, includes king bed & attached outside bathroom with Kitchenette. If there are more than 2pp book our cute kingfisher caravan set up for 2pp (1 king single and 1 sml single). Ages 6yrs+ is preferred at our property as it is not completely fenced off and there are horses and some driveway vehicles about. Epic horse trail riding & surfing on your doorstep!

Surrounded by pohutukawa trees and flax bushes, for privacy and great bird-life. The beach is safe for swimming, rock pooling, kayaking, paddle-boarding and has a surf break at the southern end of the beach.
