«Huset på Bakken» ligger på den smale stripen av land mellom sjøen og fjellene i Ullsfjorden. Her kan man nyte rolige dager med familien eller utfordre seg selv på korte eller lengre turer. Fra huset er det fin utsikt over fjorden og fjellene i alle retninger. Her er flere steder hvor det er grei adkomst til Lyngsalpan landskapsverneområde, med Jiehkkevárri (Jæggevarre) på 1834 moh. som høyeste topp. Det er fine forhold for å se nordlys om vinteren fordi det ikke er gatelys som forstyrrer.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

You will have bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen room only for you while during staying time😄 The area is perfect for Northern Light, ski and ice fishing in winter. You can just wait in livingroom for the Aurora 💚😊 In summer you can enjoy fishing and walking on the beach here. This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. Log cabin in the wilderness in the Lyngen Alps.

Hytte på ca 70 m2, 3 km fra bilvei midt i Lyngsalpenes indrefilet, innenfor grensene til naturvern området. Rett opp til jægervasstidane, trolltind og stortind. Plass til 2 par, evt 4 personer. Ikke innlagt vann eller strøm men gasskomfyr og peis, gass og/eller parafin for oppvarming. Mobil dusj :-). På sommeren kan zodiac gummibåt lånes, ellers er det ca 30 min skitur inn til hytta fra gratis parkeringsplass. Pulk kan lånes.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
