Even though we only booked for 1 night, it was a great stay. the house was beautiful. the hot tub was awesome. the kids all loved the game room in the basement. I will for sure book again.

The cabin was perfect. Well maintained and great location. Access was easy and has everything we needed. Loved sitting by the firepit and in the jacuzzi. Access down to the river was great and the landscape beautiful. Close to Old Forge and many hiking trails. Pictures don't do it justice.

Our time at the Wheel House was exactly what we needed!! Relaxing, comfortable, and memory making. Scott and Ina were easy to work with and available to communicate throughout our stay. The babbling brook, the calm little lake, the turning water wheel and the bald eagle flying overhead all while sitting by a fire or in the hot tub was nothing short of a retreat. Our daughter loved paddling around the lake in the kayak. The interior was clean and comfortable and we made all meals in the well appointed kitchen. Thanks for a great stay!!

Michelle's property was exactly what we needed for a quick get away. The property was a winter wonderland and the house kept us warm and cozy. Cannot wait to return when the fireplace is up and running. The hot tub was such a perfect after a day snowboarding. Definitely a gem in the north country. Of note - we got snowed in and experienced a pretty significant ice storm. Within minutes of texting Michelle and Rick, we had a plow to the rescue! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Awesome place to stay. We stayed for a salmon fishing trip and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house is nice and secluded from everything and very private. House was also very clean and whenever we needed anything Juanita was quick to respond and help us out!!

Most beautiful little cabin by the water in a very private area, even more beautiful than the pictures! We had a great time with the kids. The place has everything you need and bedding is super confortable. Yonco welcomed us and shared some tips on where to eat and what to do. Definitely recommend!

This was the perfect spot for our family weekend getaway. Cozy, super cute cabin with everything you need. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. From check In to check out, Gabrielle was extremely helpful. We will definitely be booking again!

My fiance and I had a lovely weekend stay at Kristen’s home in Remsen. Such a beautiful home and location. Hope to return in the future!

This is a beautiful property to stay with my pups when I visit my family in Central NY. So thankful for the fenced in yard, and my niece and nephew love to visit to enjoy the pond and long walks around the grounds.

Perfect weekend getaway spot! My husband and I stayed 2 nights and snowmobiled the area. Loved everything about this place!

This is a cozy place. We enjoyed the scenery altho it was covered in snow. And the temps dropped below 0. We stayed warm and cozy. Definitely would be a great place for a family to enjoy as a quiet getaway!

There was easy access to the snowmobile trails and lots of parking space for trailers. The hosts are outdoor enthusiasts and went above and beyond to make our stay great! We would definitely stay here again.

Waverly’s cabin was just as described! We enjoyed bicycling, hiking, and swimming in the areas around the reservoir and are planning a return trip in the fall!

Alison’s place was great for my bachelorette weekend! Very cozy cabin nestled back in the woods. Quiet, private road. Beds were super comfy, Alison even wrote us a little welcome note :) we even got to see Finn, Pia was a bit shy! Would definitely stay here again!!

This was our second time staying at John's place and there is a reason we came back! It is a great value for everything you get; cozy cabin in the mountains, outdoor amenities like a grill, fire pit and porch as well as kayaks and a paddle board for the lake. 15 minute drive to Old Forge and steps from nature while being off the main road. Hope to come back again next year!

This lodge was amazing and super spacious! Within feet of the lake's edge and plenty of accommodations inside and outside for several guests. Lovely sun room with lots of seating facing the lake where you can relax, eat dinner and just hand out. Sleeping arrangements were great - lots of space, plenty of bedding, and mattresses were all super comfy! We felt right at home and there was not one thing we felt was missing. All in all, a lovely place for a family vacation or weekend get-away. Nick was pro-active will all communications and very quick to respond to any messages I sent. Great experience

Great affordable stay. Cute cozy cabin in the woods surrounded by beautiful nature and a river down below. You might not see many neighbors but a deer is sure to visit. Cabin was easy to find once down the dirt road. Very warm and nicely decorated. If you want to feel like snuggling up in a blanket in the middle of the woods this is the place. Hosts were thoughtful and decorated the place Valentines theme for us. Has everything you need was very peaceful and perfect for our valentines ski getaway!

Kevin was bar far and away the best airbnb host I've ever had. I think my ratings stat for themselves just how perfect everything was and how his place exceeded my expectations. The photos and the description do not do the place justice for how quirky the house was and how beautiful the surrounding area is. This authentic family getaway home really feels like stepping into someone else's life, and Kevin is more than gracious in whatever is needed for your stay. Keep in mind this place has many frills and oddities but it is a humble house, not your fancy villa. I personally was looking for that and I'm glad I had stayed there when I did. All the best to Kevin and his family and I hope others get a chance to stay here.
