This house was excellent for our extended family gathering – the kids loved the table tennis room, the oldies loved the view, and we all loved the direct access to the beach. Thank you, Jill, – your communications were great, the house was spotless, the beds were super and the setting made this a gathering we will all remember, even though it was for Great Grandma’s funeral.

Awesome big house in a convenient and lively central location. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and parks. Hosts are helpful and responsive. Only minor downside was parking was a bit difficult, we had to park a few blocks away. Otherwise a perfect stay. Thank you!

Helens place is exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway with a few friends! Right by the beach, with enough room for a small group/big family! We can’t recommend this place more!

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

Susan is a great host, it’s been our third stay at her property and we loved it! She was very flexible in our check-in and waited for us until we arrived from the ferry before midnight! We greatly appreciated it! The place is very clean, spacious and private, too. We would like to come back and certainly can recommend her place!

This place really felt like a home away from home. There was everything we needed. The hot tub and pool were much enjoyed. We were able to have a wonderful gathering with overseas family members and visits from our NZ children, plenty of space. We loved the beach. Simon was very friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Trudi’s place over Christmas. We had everything we needed. Great to have the beach across the road with lots of amenities close by. Would love to stay again

Absolutely beautiful place: well designed, spotless, and comfortable, with a stunning view over Wellington harbor. The funicular access adds a bit of magic to the experience. Lovely, simple breakfast left for us. The location is perfect—a short walk from Wellington’s central business district. Loved our stay here.

Loved our stay in a beautiful and very convenient part of the City. Sue was a great host and always kept in touch. Easy walk by or bus ride into town but the stunning views from the studio and its terrace plus accessibility to Oriental Bay means we will come back next year!

I had a marvelous stay at the Seaview house of Dreenagh and Kevin. Working in the industrial area it was a 5 minutes drive to work. It was always a great "coming home" in the afternoon. Nice restaurants are near, towards Eastbourne-Days Bay as well as in (the direction of) Petone. Free time: the trails behind the house in the fern woods are perfect for a hike or run. The house is equipped with all the requisites: a full-option kitchen, washing machine, WIFI. I hope to be back at Point Howard during my next stay!

we have stayed here a few times, so we feel right at home in this lovely comfortable home. It has everything you need, good quality linen, towels etc. We enjoy having a coffee machine available too. It's on the bus route so is easy to get into town without having to use your car and look for parking. There are excellent cafes in walking distance and of course the beach is just down the road. We will always stay here if it's available.

Perfect view of Wellington harbor and watching the ships and ferries. Apartment has everything you need-you just have to look for it. Found the washer in the bathroom in a cabinet across from the toilet!!
