Courtney’s A frame cabin was exactly what we’d been looking for. My girlfriend and I both work high stress jobs for our first anniversary wanted to unplug, relax, and just be together in a beautiful cabin. The Sauna was easy to use and ran incredibly well, the hot tub was clean and already warm for us when we arrived, the fireplace brought me back to my childhood (wood heat only home) and kept us cozy, and the decor maintained the charm of a 70’s cabin while still being clean, well kept, and modern (mid-cent). Courtney runs a beautiful cabin here, if you’re looking to escape to the lush forests of Vermont and enjoy some rustic charm, absolutely check this place out. Cheers!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Will was very easy to speak with, as well as gave suggestions of things to check out in the area! Will’s cabin is located in a remote area that you can sit back relax and enjoy the sounds of the world around you! I cannot say enough good things about the cabin!!! There are trails that could be explored but I did not have the proper shoes with me. If you are curious about the area it would be ill advised to pass up this amazing location!!!!

I cannot recommend Cabin in the Woods enough. I have not felt so peaceful and relaxed as I did after relaxing at the cabin in a long time. Nights in the hot tub enjoying the silence, the nature all around and the stars in the sky was incredible. We passed the time reading, sipping wine and unwinding. We took day trips to Woodstock and Manchester - we had such a great time. Highly recommend.

The cabin was lovely! We went for a little weekend getaway with some friends and it is a great space for such an occasion. There is a surprising amount of space in and around the house and we didn't even use the three season porch. The hosts were also very responsive and easy to communicate with. Definitely a cute little home away from home!

Was absolutely wonderful stay. We usually don't spend much time at our airbnbs but we got to fully enjoy this one. Relaxed the whole weekend was just what we needed. Had an amazing stay over the weekend, loved every minute of it and I wish we stayed longer! Cozy bedrooms with a lot of activities if stuck inside during bad weather! Beautiful scenery overlooking the river in the backyard. Amazing lighting around the hot tub. And the ping pong table was a great plus. Will definitely be coming back again!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Comfortable, had everything we needed. The sauna was an incredible experience - great to use after hours of hiking! Hot tub worked well and was good temp. Area was quiet and peaceful with very little traffic. Would absolutely visit again!

We really loved our stay at Jody's A-Frame home. The boys loved to sled in the yard. It was great to make a fire each evening. It was very close to Mt. Snow for our daily skiing. The day we were supposed to drive up, there was a large storm predicted and Jody worked with us to allow us to arrive earlier than the typical check-in time in order to avoid the storm. It was a special week for us and we are grateful for her hospitality!

Perfect place for a quiet retreat. We loved this spot, peaceful, exactly as described and they have thought of everything! Would definitely stay again.

We had an awesome getaway at Kevin and Lesley’s cabin! This was our last little getaway before we get married this fall and it was the perfect unplugged retreat to feel connected going into the stressful time before the wedding. The cabin is cozy, the bathroom is adequate and sort of surprisingly not as buggy as it could have been, and the porch was my favorite spot to feel connected to nature. Kevin was very communicative and the instructions in the cabin were very clear. Luce’s lookout was amazing at the top and a really great recommendation by our hosts. We would definitely go back!

The cabin was perfect for a cozy weekend getaway! In fact, it was even more lovely in person than the photos. We did some lovely hiking in the area and visited nearby farms. Our dog loved the space and slept like a log after a day of hiking. On the day it rained, we had the best time staying inside, reading, playing games, and listening to music. There are clear instructions everywhere to help make sure everything is used properly. While it was too cold and rainy to make too much use of the outdoor amenities, we were able to easily grill. We hope to come back in the summer to make fire pits and swim in the nearby brook! Overall wonderful stay, it was everything we were looking for.

Beautiful, peaceful location with a stunning view looking east towards Vermont at the mountains. Everything is as advertised with the pictures. It is a rustic A-frame cottage with a wonderful wood-burning stove. The whole place was beautifully accented with candles and sophisticated country charm. We loved the record player and all the Christmas albums. Lizzie is a super host who is very responsive and accommodating. This is a great "get-away" location and is highly recommended. We visited three years ago and were back again. The improvements and new appointments were impressive and added to the charm. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

Without a doubt one of the best cabins that we have stayed in. Well stocked, fully remote feeling and plenty of soothing wild life. The interior is incredibly cosy and there are enough games to pass the time on a rainy day. Bonus: Emily and Patty are wonderful hosts and have a very friendly golden retriever that comes to say hello.

One of my favorite AirBnB stays ever! If you're looking for a cool, comfortable, memorable experience, this is it. The photos don't do it justice. This beautiful home was spotless, had so many amazing handmade artful features, and comfortably hosted our group of 5. Communication with Rik was excellent throughout, and he gave us excellent local recommendations. There are so many great surprises and personal touches in the home, so much space to explore - all in the comfort of modern, cozy amenities. Cozy, homey, cabin feel. This place was exactly what we wanted for a ski weekend at Killington. Perfect for two! Would stay here again!

Peaceable Nation, is exactly that. Super unique and cozy, perfect for our family and dog. Dave was incredibly accommodating and responsive! Super underrated place! Gorgeous property and the cabin is very comfortable. Has more than what you would need and the host was so nice! Perfect place to relax and adventure from!

We had a great time! This is the place to go if you’re looking for some secluded quiet time to relax. We enjoyed walking every day and relaxing by the wood stove at night. The kitchen had all the amenities needed for us to make meals at the cabin. We hope to go back in the warmer weather to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities that the area has to offer. All around amazing stay and experience!

Beautiful cabin in the woods , nestled at the foothills of the mountains, we went around Peak Foilage in early October and couldn't have asked for better weather and accomodations. Elizabeth, an excellent host, Reccomended some people hikes and look out points by the river, and surprised us with breakfast goodies on a Sunday morning!! Looking forward to be back and would definitely recommend to others as well

This was the perfect spot for a ski weekend! The house was clean, easy to locate & it was easy to communicate with Robert. I could see us renting here again!
