Wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle? Enjoy a stay at our 3rd Generation Family Ranch that is located 3 1/2 miles East of Highway 99. We have something for everyone! You can wake up and see cattle and horses on our working ranch. You can walk down our driveway and see the scenery of the Kansas Flinthills. You are a half mile from the Fall River Wildlife Area with its Public Hunting. We are also one mile from the Ladd Bridge where you can drop in your boat and/or Jetski and enjoy access to Fall River Lake.

The Blue Door Cabin

The main level features two queen bedrooms, a TV room, bath, kitchen and lakeview room overlooking the large, gently sloping yard and lake. Adorable 2 bedroom one bathroom cabin with a fireplace, large deck with hot tub, pretty view, good water frontage, nice flat yard and private dock to park your boat with a ladder for swimming. The cabin backs to pretty woods which provide peace and quiet, privacy as well as abundant wildlife. The lake is just 100 yards down a nice trail through the woods. A 3 person kayak is available for your use, as well as a fire ring and lawn chairs.

Beautiful 2 story house, built in the 1800’s updated. The home sits in a beautiful location of the Flint Hills. You can sit on the back porch or front porch and watch beautiful sunrise and sunsets. The Ranch House has a big beautiful manicured yard. Cattle roam right up next to the properties fence. A short walk down the road is a babbling creek. A quiet, beautiful, setting to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Located rurally (3 miles south of Chanute, Ks), we are listed as one of the top ten attractions with numerous flower beds, a historic 1874 stone schoolhouse, a Retail Soap Shop located in a restored barn (handcrafted soaps are made here on site), and the Summit Hill Gardens Event Center- for hosting celebrations of life.
