This is a great find! The home was well stocked, cared for and comfortable for our group. Cheri was fantastic with communications as we had a small power outage one day. Her heads up gave us all peace of mind that we had nothing to worry about. Fantastic sunsets

We could not have enjoyed our stay any more than we did. The house was well stocked and clean. Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained as well. The neighborhood is quiet and within a short distance to many local attractions and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area. Thank you!!

This was our second time staying at Joyful Dolphins and it’s a great fit for our active family of four. The bikes were a hit and the host was helpful and responsive when we had a couple of questions. We love the easy access to the trail along the sound. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated and the additional blankets since the evenings were cool. Thank you for a great spring break trip!

My family and and I had a very nice time staying at their house. The host is very accommodating. The house is very nice and in a good location. Will definitely try to book again.

Attention to detail in this property. Great location. Beautiful sound front property with wonderful outdoor amenities. My husband and I kayaked in the sound behind the house and met the oyster farmer that is close by. The local restaurants are great and we were able to ride our bike to them. The decor was very cute. Outside shower was convenient.

This house was perfect for us! It was a beautiful, private location. The house was spacious, clean, and very conducive to spending time together as a family, but also for quiet time, if needed. The location was awesome and it was so helpful having a parking pass for the beaches. 10/10 would totally stay here again.

We loved our stay and have frequented Rodanthe for years. We will definitely stay again! The spirit of the home is peaceful, positive, and we felt right at home. Great for teenagers and pets. Stairs keep you on your toes haha but great exercise! Highly recommend :)

We loved our stay at Karen’s place. The apartment is very comfortable, and the views are spectacular. I wish we had more time to enjoy the offerings. We hope to come back again!

Really enjoyed the condo it was a perfect base camp for a variety of activities in the OBX. There was a well stocked kitchen which was great as we did a lot of home meals. The condo was nicely decorated, and the beds were super comfy! James was easy to contact and communicated back quickly if asked a question. Was a great stay.

Thomas’s place was perfect! Very relaxing, quiet, and serene. I enjoyed the view overlooking the water. The apartment had everything that I needed to feel at home. I do wish there was a TV in the bedroom, but other than that it definitely earned a 5-star review!

This was our 2nd time staying in the upstairs big studio unit. WE love this place as we are a USCG family and our family/grandkids are there in E-City. Great view, right on the bay, the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Alice is the best, she answers quickly and is flexible about arrival times which helps when driving from Raliegh to E-City. It is a joy to stay there. We fish so love what she has done with her big boathouse on the property where you can relax out of the weather or sun and fish, socialize, watch the bay, etc. You have everything you need in there for a wonderful stay. All amenities! Sunrises and sunsets are amazing!!!!! thanks again Alice for a great visit.

We had a great stay, and highly recommend this space! Vjollca was exceptionally responsive and helpful. It was a great perk to be able to park under cover and walk right into the unit. It’s a cozy little space perfect for two!

We had a lovely stay at The Grey Pearl. Perfect location-walk to restaurants, etc. We packed bikes and never took the car out once. I really love a dog friendly house!

Maria’s cozy little house was very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the backyard and her beautiful paintings. The beach is nearby, though it’s best to drive due to a busy intersection. The Wright Brothers’ Museum is just a short drive away, and Maria was incredibly helpful in recommending places to visit.

My wife and I stayed with our two kids and my parents (and their dog) and had a great time! The house is cozy but comfortable for 6, with a good amount of living space including a very nice sunroom. Amy was friendly and helpful in our communications and proactive at checking how things were going, and helped ensure we had a nice stay the whole time. Staying on the sound was beautiful, especially the sunsets. The house is right on a great multiuse path which is perfect for walking or biking to the nearby coffee shop or for exercise. Grocery stores and restaurants are close too, as are destinations like Jockey's Ridge and the Wright Brothers memorial. Two little things that made me happy were walking past the Muscadine vine in the front yard, and the color of the mailbox: a light blue which made it unique and easy to find when driving down an unfamiliar street. If your group is the right size for it, Safe and Sound is a great place to stay, and Amy is an excellent host!

Another fantastic Spring Break at the Best Box! The nicest, cleanest, most relaxing rental we’ve ever found. Didn’t think the property could be any better than it was last year, but the owners have managed to make many creative and thoughtful upgrades. Enjoyed days at the beach, days on the sound, chartered a boat for fishing, ate tons of seafood, and saw the best sunsets right from the deck. Literally took advantage of everything in this house - from crabbing to fishing to baggo to flying kites to playing board games to darts and foosball. Oh and kayaking, relaxing in the hammock, and tubing, too.

We enjoyed our stay and found the home well equipped. The turtles are fun to watch. This is a very unique home and a short walk to the beach. We would stay there again!

This cottage was perfect for our family's spring break trip. It was peaceful, quiet, and a quick walk to the beach! The cottage itself was wonderful--clean, decorated wonderfully, and surprisingly spacious!

Great house and great host. Had to make a last second change from a previous house we were staying in and Michelle was able to fit us in the night we asked and even before our allotted time. Made sure we had everything we needed and was always responsive. Very appreciative for her and her flexibility. Home was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend to stay here.

We totally understand and agree with Tanya being listed as a Super Host with 5+Stars! From making the reservation until checkout, Tanya made certain that we had absolutely everything we could possibly need for our stay, from extra toiletries, beach towels, sunscreen and even a sewing kit! She is responsive to messages, provides tips and suggestions on trips, places to visit and local restaurants! The house is pristine yet feels like home! We will definitely be making many more trips and this will be our “ home away from home!”
